South Park goes over the top all the time, and yet this trailer is what triggers everyone?!
If youre in this thread, chances are you have at least a passing interest in South Park, and have probably giggled at at least one of the above storylines. So which is it? Have you always hated their humour and are just now admitting to yourself and others that youve wasted 20 years watching something you despise? Are you bandwagoning on the hate fest just cuz? Or can you admit that while yes, the racist imagery is admittedly probably too far for most people, but it is also nothing new in terms of how South Park handles any racial matter?
Does it make it right? No, of course not, but as I said in my last long post: South Park is never seen as a serious entity, their portrayal of anything they ever make fun of (this Kanye stuff included) is not likely backed by malicious intent.
