VGA nominees are determined by our press advisory board. They have advance code on games, hence why you see nominations for games out soon.

There are a lot of valid complaints about the VGAs, but I think this one is fine.

To clarify, I mean that they probably haven't played something like Rayman: Origins, just my guess.

It isn't a no brainer, there is a lot of quality this year although Arkham City is very good.

I'm also ok with Dark Souls not being in it, there are a lot of things wrong in the game that the new patch will fix.

Well Vanquish wasnt on any list last year and thats the best TPS this gen.
