What an interesting thread. I'm not sure who is confirming trailers/reveals that aren't in the show, but it won't be long now until we start sharing details. Until then I would proceed cautiously with your hype :)
Rumors:

Note: Kinect is not in Gears of War 3.
According to our tip, Microsoft is using the Spike TV Video Games Awards (VGAs) to introduce some big action games, including new titles for the Kinect. The headliner is Gears of War for Kinect, coming straight from Epic Games. Now, we cannot clarify whether or not this is an all-new Gears of War for Kinect or if it's an existing Gears of War game, retro-fitted for the camera controller. But it definitely clicks with recent rumblings that Microsoft wants to get in front of the conventional wisdom that the Kinect is only a toy for casual gamers and family.

While the invite makes no mention of the game (or games) that Sony will have present at its event, the next Naughty Dog game seems like a distinct possibility. That's because we've heard from a source that Uncharted 3 will have its video debut at the VGAs on December 11, so an extended reveal for one of Sony's biggest franchise titles the next day seems plausible.

And since we've heard that select press has already seen Uncharted 3, an opportunity for the rest of us to go eyes on with what Naughty Dog has cooking would certainly be appreciated.

The timing's right for a Resistance 3 in-engine trailer. I'm also thinking that Arkham City and Dead Space 2 trailers are pretty damn likely.

An Uncharted 3 reveal would be beyond awesome, but I'm not expecting it; Uncharted 2 was such a success that I imagine Sony might want to save the UC3 reveal for E3 or something.

I can't wait for celebrity voice talent to win the best voice acting awards to justify their presence at the event at the expense of the actual voice talent.

Needs more Jersey Shore too.

Yeah man I'll take it for sure. I was interested in that bundle deal you had going on though...if the Pixar Shorts disc is still available I'll buy both of those, otherwise just Pinocchio is good to me. :)

We've seen gameplay already.

They get over 120 requests a year apparently so they can be very picky. :lol
They always have some shit reveals. There are only 2-3 announcements/trailers every year I give a damn about.

Half Life 2: Ep 3? Eh? Eh? You know you want to show us it Valve.

That's pretty much the only thing that could justify me actually watching this abomination.

I would listen to The Bravery all day every day if this was the light at the end of the tunnel.

Why am I pessimistic about these :-/. Last year was such a letdown. We had a teaser for the new Batman game that was, well, lackluster at best. I don't even remember the rest of the shit shown.

he didn't start sharing details about the VGA's till the 18th of november last year, so we might have another week or so before we start getting keighly's hype tweets.

Because it's stupid crazy fun, especially in co-op.
It's easily one of the best co-op games this generation and I really hope Saint's Row 3 expands upon that. Being able to play the full singleplayer co-op and do all the ridiculous challenges, (and car surfing) is still fun. Come on Volition, bring some of your Red Faction tech into Saint's Row and have some crazy destructible environments.

I'll watch for Geoff/new game announcements but i won't have to like it!

Please just stop being 150% awkward at every possible point though. The celebrity "jokes" they make are SO bad it's just a night of trailer watching and cringing.

This is a large part of the fun.

is this that G4 awards show?

that was one of the most embarassingly terrible things i've ever seen, although the same could be said about G4 in general
