Note: Kinect is not in Gears of War 3.

According to our tip, Microsoft is using the Spike TV Video Games Awards (VGAs) to introduce some big action games, including new titles for the Kinect. The headliner is Gears of War for Kinect, coming straight from Epic Games. Now, we cannot clarify whether or not this is an all-new Gears of War for Kinect or if it's an existing Gears of War game, retro-fitted for the camera controller. But it definitely clicks with recent rumblings that Microsoft wants to get in front of the conventional wisdom that the Kinect is only a toy for casual gamers and family.

While the invite makes no mention of the game (or games) that Sony will have present at its event, the next Naughty Dog game seems like a distinct possibility. That's because we've heard from a source that Uncharted 3 will have its video debut at the VGAs on December 11, so an extended reveal for one of Sony's biggest franchise titles the next day seems plausible.

And since we've heard that select press has already seen Uncharted 3, an opportunity for the rest of us to go eyes on with what Naughty Dog has cooking would certainly be appreciated.

An Uncharted 3 reveal would be beyond awesome, but I'm not expecting it; Uncharted 2 was such a success that I imagine Sony might want to save the UC3 reveal for E3 or something.

What's wrong with CG trailers? I like well made CG trailers that give me an idea of the characters and setting of the world.

Personally I find gameplay videos terribly boring.

It's easily one of the best co-op games this generation and I really hope Saint's Row 3 expands upon that. Being able to play the full singleplayer co-op and do all the ridiculous challenges, (and car surfing) is still fun. Come on Volition, bring some of your Red Faction tech into Saint's Row and have some crazy destructible environments.
