I REALLY hope they can capture this water-color look for the hair! It would be so cool to see in-game, especially if it changed color as you moved around.

I was thinking I hope it's more than 3 hrs or so, but I doubt they'd go to all the trouble of a SP-focused campaign in a Nintendo game, even a MP-focused one, and make it that brief. I was saying to my wife, I don't think we've seen that short of a SP game from Nintendo since...Luigi's Mansion? Even that is like 6 hours IIRC.

When I first saw the shield in the trailer my first thought was that they could use this as their shield in Smashbros once the Inklings are playable. I hope they are Smash 4 DLC.

That has got the be the best character design for Splatoon yet. The colors are amazing! If Splatoon gets in the next Smash Bros I want this guy and the orange hair girl squid to be the main representatives, being able to switch each other out as alternate skins.
