I wish I had better answers for you regarding your questions, but it's been waaaay too long since i've seen Ergo Proxy that I only remember the major plot arc. Hopefully someone corrects me if i'm wrong (I think a re-watch is due).

The Pulse I thought was part of something that happens when Proxies are wiped out and humanity is able to venture out into the sun again. Also the name of the plan in some form too, I think.
Proxy One wanted to wipe out humanity and also created Vincent.
He survives because he's able to go back to being Vincent. There was also the fact about his creation being different from the others and it's timing (after the project initiation from One) that allowed him to circumvent that.
Y'all really should check it out. It's definitely one of the most entertaining shows of the season at this point, no matter how you look at it.

I clued in on how Vincent and Ergo were a singular entity and how One was the puller of the strings. But was thrown off by him existing separately.
Ergo's survivability is crazy. Him and One have that simultaneous strike thing and while One is grievously wounded Ergo shrugs it off.

He often called Ergo his "Shadow". The weird thing is is that they're technically the same being but not. One of those kind of logic-breaking pieces of information. They never did go too much into how One created Ergo, but they were the same but not the same.

This talk of BR region locking has got me all nervous. I checked that Dusk Maiden would run on a UK BR player before importing it from the US, but for some bizarre reason it never occurred to me to check Rebellion before getting it from Aniplex. Haven't opened it yet, and I'd rather not if it's not going to work. Anyone know if it will?
I have the entire series but haven't actually read any of them yet. All I can say is that the Suicidal Mime manga is one of my all-time favourites.

I fully endorse this show. I also spent quite a lot of money acquiring it. That was when it came out though. It should be rereleased. Its bullshit that it isnt.

Eh, there's incest every season.
I can think of...what, four shows with incest-y themes this season? (Yuzuki/Hazuki in WIXOSS, Tatsuya/Miyuki in Mahouka, Sora/Shiro in No Game No Life and Tooru/Akari in Chaika. Am I missing any?) I guess that's more than average, but it doesn't feel all that notable because none of them are really laying it on as heavy as some shows do.

I'm at work right now and don't have the box to hand, but I remember looking when it arrived and not seeing anything that looked like a traditional region symbol. I'll give it a more thorough check when I get home. Also I'd usually go on a google hunt for the answer but I'm kinda worried about stumbling across spoilers.

I'm seriously considering to just read the manga, half of the point for me to watching this show is the visual afterall.. Like eps 1 and 2 show, this adaptation are capable to elevate the manga looked damn good with Taiyou Matsumoto unique framing and art, but the manga easily looked superior than the last 2 eps that troubled with production issue.
But damn, the manga didn't have this OST

I have seen two episodes and it´s the most random stuff I have found in long time... I wonder if I should drop it before it affects my mental health but I'm curious.

Still very nice, I like how collected it´s Ginko, seems like a really interesting character. The pace is slow but it suit the series, really relaxing even if it deals with some serious issues. The art is great, I like how exuberant is the background.

After watching again 126 (and appreciate it even more), 127 it´s a nice warm up for what I assume it´s going to happen. This arc is going places.

I don't mind the fan service aspects of the show. I hate it in those generic moe shows we get bombarded with season after season. But NGNL is really just a comedy show that just uses generic tropes and references to other manga/anime as part of the comedy. When done like that, I don't really mind it at all personally.

The show is a joy to watch but the villains need to have their brains replaced.
Letting Mustang and brothers roam free through Amestria, even though they discovered the whole conspiracy, has to one of the dumbest moves ever, even in anime. It should be rather obvious they're not going to stand around and wait for your plan to come to fruition. Should have locked them up as they did with doctor Marcoh.

Well okay AnimeGaf you weren't lying, this is pretty good. Earlier I thought that the artstyle in this wasn't my cup of tea but I ate it up the with no problems. Just hope they won't go over the top with Smile's introvert issues. Feels kind of nostalgic watching this, I think my previous sports anime was Tsubasa 20 years ago. ;_;
Not going to spoil it for you're but that plot point is one of the few nitpicks I had about the series. Still, you're in for quite a ride. I think along with FLCL, this is at the pinnacle of the anime I watched. Savor it.

What specifically makes you nitpick this plotpoint (do not read Psyhco or anybody else currently watching)
I thought the whole point of their relationship was that Kiritsugu had such specific ideals that in order to willingly accept that the woman he loves needed to be sacrificed by him, he needed to do a horrible thing such as cheat on her so he could see himself sacrificing her. He didn't really feel any love putside of mentor/trainee for what's her face. She knew her feelings for him were selfish as well. It was a fucked up relationship but Kiritsugu doesn't exactly have the most proper ideals on right and wrong either. The marriage as a whole is messed up to. He knows that he needs to succeed so his daughter doesn't go through the same thing. The two people he loves most in the world are to be a sacrifice for this whole fucked up war

That was a really good sets of episodes, with just 1 episode to set up the plot, and the rest was just action straight away. Its going to take a while for me to remember all the names, and I love how the side characters have silly passion/desires and the MC playing the straight guy. The 4th episode really leave me wondering what flaws the MC have, cause I am a bad person like that.

It'll probably end up with a sort of harem. But honestly I'm in the same boat when it comes to panty shots, particularly on little girls. It's fucking disgusting. But the show has proven with the rest of the episodes that, while ecchi/perverted stuff does exist, it doesn't overshadow just how clever the referential humor is. The main char is pretty charming for a male lead as well.
