Square Enix details Forspoken PS5 graphics modes and DualSense features

Why do you think that? It's not how it's defined. In fact it makes no real sense to call 2560x1440p "2K". We call 3840x2160 "4K" because the horizontal axis is pretty close to 4,000 pixels. So the only TV resolution it would really make sense to call "2K" by the same logic is 1920x1080.

It's the marketing term. It doesn't need to make sense

No 1440p is commonly known as 2k

Melee and some of the ranged attacks are straight out of second son.


I knew Forspoken's gameplay reminded me of something lol
 
Eh I trust in square these days. LiS True Colors has some of the best facial animations in games and Guardians has the second best graphics of the year behind Ratchet.
They are gonna nail it or delay it further.
 
Returnal couldn’t hit 1440p 60fps with its fancy particles on ue4. I’m skeptical Forsaken will pull it off with ue5, but that would be nice if that’s the norm on ue5.
