I wish they would announce something like a pc-port of the first game or a update to make the controls of the switch version better.

If twewy2 is basically twewy + turnbased combat/action combat (any combat that is as good as the orginal one but is not in need of a touchscreen or two screens) it's a day 0 purchase.

really cant fathom why square didnt make FFXIV anime instead...with recent trend of isekai genre, the anime could serve great promotion for the game

I've been wanting a sequel forever, but an anime is promising! Especially if it exposes more people to the series. If it gets really popular among anime fans maybe we'll get a new game someday.

If they don't respect the original thick line art by Tetsuya Nomura, I won't watch it.

After the cyberpunk anime announcement now this, wonderful news

They revealed the first trailer and they are respecting the original art style, Tetsuya Nomura is even credited as character designer, looks pretty good.

The studio doing the animation is Shin-Ei Animation (Doraemon) which is pretty interesting since these guys usually take one Anime and they focus completely on that one Anime so in other words it will be high quality animation.
