I can confirm you can select resolution (1080p,1440p or 4k), resolution textures (high or normal), AA (FXAA3, FXXA2,FXXXA or none), blur effect, depth of field, draw distance, shadows quality, etc on PS4 Pro.

On 1440p (1080p tv here) and all option to the max, the game is running to 60fps.

I liked it better then 5 in all honestly. I couldn't finish that game. The voice acting is kinda cringey in 4, but has a better story. 5 barely had one.

Gameplay is great but the story is pretty bad. It's kind of par for the course with Star Ocean as a series though the story has degrees of bad.

I got this on PS3 back in the day and quit pretty early in... the long gaps between save points made it unplayable to me...

PS4's suspend / rest modes makes it more playable now. I may give this a 2nd chance!

I feel Star Ocean is (was) one the most overrated series.

I played the first one on PSP and found it mediocre at best. IV was pretty bad, V a turd.

Its because of 2... serious feels for that one...

on the ps3 version which is the international version at level 24 next level exp is at 5000

Its not gonna jump that much level exp in just two levels?


Also i wish hard wasn't lock and be force to have to beat it in normal to unlock the higher difficulty

Steam says Japanese is supported and the game is based on the international version, so if the PS4 version doesn't let you someone dun effed up.

VP2 is a technical mess built around the very specific PS2 hardware, it's very unlikely we'll ever see a port of that game unfortunately.

I wish every game to be a technical mess then.
