"I can give a lot of Instagram followers"

Really ?!

You weren't kidding about the cringe...

Is this him not hitting on her, I've obviously not seen the full video outside of that clip, but is that harrasment?

He seems to leave her alone once he realises she's not interested. Cringey as hell though.

My thoughts as well. Definitely cringey, but calling this harassment is a bit much.

This is forgetting what the real world is like when you've devoted your life to satisfying a bunch of screen names on the internet every night.

Your currency is instagram followers. Most people don't give a shit about that.

Not harassment. Just...a dude who's lost all prospective in order to please his fans.

Dance monkey. Dance for me.

How is this harassment?

He goes away when he realises she ain't interested. It's not like he is constantly following her around town.

Doesn't really seem like harassment. As soon as she wasn't interested he stopped talking to her and went back to his stream. It is very cringe-worthy, though.

I did not expected to be this cringey.

Dude starts asking for nerd cred and then ask for stuff in trade for followers ?

Dear god

Not quite the unadulterated cringe I was expecting, but it was one like one of thos esuper intense moments in a movie/show where you think someone's about to get murdered, but then nothing happens

I dunno, if I were a girl, some dude coming up to me and saying "I bet you never played games before" and some other shit I'd be a little offended. Doubling up on that instagram shit, too. But eh, it's a matter of opinion I guess.

Is this how you talk to girls nowadays? Promise them Instagram followers? I feel so old. No wonder I'm still single

This qualified as harassment? This word is becoming almost as useless as "cringe" itself has become. It was awkward but ultimately harmless, the guy probably realized that 3 seconds after he opened his mouth and has since flushed his own head down the toilet.

Yeah, about the cringe levels of "roflstomping newbies with bastion" from the razor commercial.

The Instagram thing was self aware. He was doing that shit for chat. Doesn't make it any less cringe but not sure I would go as far as harassment.

Then you are quite easily offended.

Seriously harassment? So you never tried to start a conversation with a random girl at a bar? Are we going to call that harassment too?

Just a loser who doesn't get the message as quickly enough as he should have. I wouldn't call this harassment.

It's really rude though. Who cares if she hasn't played games before? She's playing them now. Not everyone is born with a controller in their goddamn hand. I have friends who didn't own their first game console until they reached college, because of overprotective parents.

Pro Tip: Talking down to someone isn't the best way to start a conversation.

Evidence: My post.

That's why I said "a little". And said "opinion". It's okay to disagree. I've even edited the OP, but I fear this topic will go in a certain direction now.

My mistake.

"Don't be shy, I can give you lots of Instagram followers right now."

There's certainly nothing wrong with speaking to other people walking around playing the game but this dude is just being a frigging creep.

"I bet you do;t even play games"

"I can get you a lot of instagram followers"

Yeah, that's not an okay way to talk to a random person on the street. This is Twitch so I guess we should be happy he didn't go too far.

kingkongor?

i haven't seen that name in a while, he was a d3 streamer that scammed one of his own viewers.

people used to (maybe they still do?) for picking his nose and immediately eating his booger on stream

I want lots of instagram followers why? Is this some sort of bargaining chip? Are you paid for having lots of unknown people follow you?
Sometimes social media is so fucking wacky

I have 30 followers. It's too lonely. I wouldn't mind some more validation on my dog pics :(

This guy is just weird. He's a prick and everyone hated him when he was streaming Diablo 3. He had a break down and quit streaming, he then came back and pretended to be someone completely different without changing his voice at all.

He also picks his nose and eats it on stream.
