k so

Amanchu has Ai Kayano
ReLife has Ai Kayano and Haruka Tomatsu
Rewrite has Eri Kitamura
Qualidea Code has Aoi Yuuki
Hatsukoi Monster has Yui Horie
New Game! has Yoko Hikasa
Love Live!! Sunshine has a buncha randoms
Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru! has Nao Toyama as a side character

I'll probably drop Qualidea Code since it's supernatural trash. I do like Key AIDS tho. no mentioning Rewrite pls. fuckinnnnnnnnn sucks Nao Toyama doesn't have a lead role this season. gosh now I'm hoping most of these shows are garbage so I can catch up on this season's stuff and start watching old crap like Prism Ilya

those shows plus Shokugeki no Soma S2

So is this going to be the anime OT now or what

Not at all.

This is just a see seperate (specific) look into what's coming up, in neutral territory. The Seasonal Anime Community OT will be there, like usual, for everyone to come and hang out and discuss how much of this crap we drop watching after 1-3 episodes...

is active raid worth watching

Maybe, maybe not, but depends on what you want. It's a very episodic show with low ambitions and unimpressive production values (although the 3DCG power suits look fine).

The subject matter and its execution have more in common with something carefree, silly and lighthearted like Dekaranger (also known as Power Rangers SPD) than with a high octane action production. Based on the previous season, it wasn't aiming for a strong central character drama nor a very compelling narrative.

A lot of folks found the first episode to be boring and instantly dropped it, but I thought the series was an okay distraction with a couple of highlights later on (the Super Robot nostalgia episode was especially great). They'll probably try to slightly widen the appeal of the second half in various ways, but I doubt it'll completely change.

Man, looks like the only thing I'm watching this season is Shokugeki no Souma guys. I need some any recommendations or else I might as well finally start with Legends of the Galactic Heroes.

What kinds of shows do you like? There is a little bit of everything there, so we can narrow it down for you.

Still incredulous that they're making Danganronpa 3 into an anime and not a game, especially after the awful D1 anime.

Shitty CGI Berserk will continue to be shitty CGI Berserk.

At least we got Jojo.

Anything really, just that its good.

It's kind of a crap shoot, but

Mob Psycho 100
- Made by the same folks that did One Punch Man, I didn't care for OPM very much, but it was hugely popular...

Orange
- Manga is completed, so we should be getting a full adaptation of a good story

ReLife
- Has said to be a pretty good story with a good mix of emotions

ReWrite
- VN adaptation of a Key works, which is said to one of their best. Oh and Maeda is only doing the music (he dies awesome music), so there is no way the pacing can be screwed up like it was for Angel Beats and Charlotte.

91 Days
- This is original, so not much is know, but it should be a complete story and the premise sounds pretty cool.

Battery
- Said to be a pretty good sports manga with some good emotion to it, so I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Berserk

Orange
Mob Psycho 100

Depends what goes to Funimation, Crunchyroll, etc too. I lowering my exceptions for Berserk, but well I likely still want to see it all the way through heh.

Surprised KyoAni is not doing the adaptation for Rewrite. I'm actually also surprised they didn't direct Angel Beats. Or Little Busters, for that matter.

Did they have a falling out?

Really not sure why they stopped using KyoAni after Clannad AS, but they have been jumping around ever since:

Air/Clannad/Kanon: Kyoto Animation

Since:
Little Busters: J.C.Staff
Angel Beats: P.A. Works
Charlotte: P.A. Works
ReWrite: 8bit
Planetarian: David Production

Thank fuck kyoani isn't attached at the hip to keyshit anymore so they can make stuff like euphonium

KyoAni usually only animates the stuff they publish now, or the ones that win their annual contest.

Are you saying their isn't enough yuri baiting in Key works? Well, your right...

Sounds about right. Both Angel Beats (even with those couple animation flaws, lol) and Charlotte looked really good, so I have to have faith in 8-bit to make Rewrite look just as nice...

Key approached KyoAni for Little Busters, but KyoAni was already busy with other projects and turned them down.

That's not true anymore. Sound Euphonium and A Silent Voice are both material from other publishers, and with no material getting recognized at all in recent KyoAni contests, it's likely that aside from Violet Evergreen no further self-published LN IPs will be getting anime from KyoAni in the foreseeable future.
