Nice, I'm looking forward to this one. The prize thing sounds fun, and the idle player kicking will be a welcome addition. I'm liking the sound of those new products too.

And lol at Juicebot being listed under bug fixes.

If I had to point to one off hand, it would probably be Wascot. His mobility is insane and by Level 6 where you have Off/Def/SS leveled to 3 you can really lay out some damage one on one or in the middle of the chaos. Veteran is another that is kinda difficult to get proper balance due to the way his early game kills can really turn the tide and are almost impossible to stop.

Yeah, Wascot in the right hands can be a little crazy. The stun on his hook gave him some much-needed utility, but it can make him a bit too good in one on one combat.

Vet seems okay to me right now. From what I understand he's pretty balanced in high-level play. At lower levels he can be pretty dominating, but he has to have a competent team to help him finish people off after he pulls them.

Have they fixed controller support yet? Tried right before xmas people said it worked but I couldn't get it to work with my 360 pad. (hate playing shooters with a mouse/kb unless I'm sniping or playing a game that's incredibly twitch like CS)

Hate to ask again but I haven't been able to find any answers.

Downloading a 2GB+ patch every week is starting to get a bit old. They need to move over to the newer patching system.

Yep, the only thing we can do is create a thread on their forums voicing our feedback.

They're aware of the problem (people bring it up every week). They just don't have a large enough team to correct it at this time. New patching should be coming "soon".
 
Still really enjoying this game. I play a match or two every night. Its taken over from TF2 as my go to multi player game but I think that's cause it plays better with a controller.
 
Are there any video tutorials/wikis that help people with the intricacies of the game? I played the original MNC a bit and I know the game is much different, but I basically have no fucking clue what's going on anymore. The constant pro switching exacerbates my confusion >_<

What are some questions you have. I'll answer them to the best of my ability. Been in Beta since December and have 170+ hours so far.

Best guide I've seen about the basics. From there you just have to pick a class and find a guide.

Fourth at 2 minutes something (Either two spawn here, or on third)

5th I think is 2:48 or 3:15 (not even sure)

I just know first 3.

1st black jack spawns at 5 minutes something or 6 minutes

1st bouncer at 8 minutes

Early jungle is the only thing worth to keep track of.

I don't really play commandos much at all, but when I'm jungling as Karl or Beth I usually just fire down on the bot lanes while the jungle bots come to me. It doesn't seem worth it to run around hunting down a jungle bot when you can be harassing the other team or clearing out lane bots instead.

Oh. My. God! I just spilled coffee everywhere! Uber with the Rule Changes 27.

It's a monster, huge, amazing update this week. We have taken all the uniforms and split them up into head gear, torso gear and leg gear! You can now mix and match parts of uniforms to your liking. These gear parts are also added to the Prize tables so you might get a gear piece for a post game Prize! Check out the system with an awesome new Assassin uniform called "Stab Demon". This tech also allows us to finally grant the "Throwback MNC Veteran" uniforms to anyone who owned Steam MNC before Feb 29th, 2012. Don't worry, this isn't the final cut off, but this lets us flex the system before setting the final date.

We are also introducing a new test version of our matchmaking system! In the "Play" menu you can click on "Matchmaking Test". It does not currently support teams. You can opt-in to multiple regions. Matches might take a little longer to find due to the complex nature of trying to get you a well matched game. Feel free to give it a test run and leave us feedback!

Finally we fixed up large group of annoying bugs, improved performance in several areas and started using a new patching system that should reduce future update sizes.

The exciting new customization features keep rolling in! This week we have our new weapon gear system. You can now get different looking weapons for most of the Pros by unlocking them or finding them in a post-game Prize. Mix and match these with all the uniform gear and make your favorite Pro look exactly how you want!

We will be turning back on "Matchmaking Test" before next update with some improvements. It will remain solo queue only but we are working to have it provide better, even matches the more you play.

Time to uninstall this i guess. The game is really nothing like the original MNC. It has grapple spam, and i'm not a fan of the LoL business model. These guys took a shit on the original fanbase, no one asked for the game to be like DOTA. Coupled with the 2gig weekly patches and noone playing in my region, yeah its time to call it quits.

I feel embarrassed for even hyping and defending this game.

This seems pretty decent, but not seeing how its much different to Monday Night Combat.

Gameplay is far less lethal. Bots take more damage, do more damage. Can't buy/upgrade turrets anymore (although there may be a map/mode in the future that allows for this). It plays more like a MOBA than a Shooter now.

Rule Changes 29! You said it wouldn't hurt but it does...

You gave us feedback, we listened! You didn't like Uber Points, we removed them! All former Uber Point unlocks are shown via a dollar amount. Foreign currencies will be calculated when the purchase is made through Steam. Any Uber Points you have left over can be used as store credit. The conversion rate gives the best dollar value for players based on the old Uber Points scheme. What better way to check out the new, straightforward unlocking than with our new bundles?

Along with several balance changes and new weapons, another big change this week is "Classic" weapons. We are introducing rarity to our items by making some of the weapons that were purchasable last week "Classic" and removing them from the store. They are still currently available through the Prize system... for now.

Yee hoo, I hope you got a hankerin' for a good ol' fashioned... oh just go to Rule Changes 30, I can't read this anymore.

Early update this week as we try to pace things out before our big PAX East showing. Thus the smaller update this week. Next update will be our normal, and maybe even greater, chock-full update with lots of new content.

Rule Change 31 won't happen until early April, just before PAX. If you make it to PAX feel free to come talk to us in booth 1062. (http://hw1.pa-cdn.com/pax/resources/PAX_East_2012_Expo_Map.pdf) We'll have lots of computers to play Super MNC and will be running tournaments every day!

No, and i will never play it again until they include a classic mode with damage like the original MNC. I have sent my feedback to the devs, i got slammed by fanboys. I'm staying away till drastic changes are implemented.

I'm voicing my beta feedback.
 
My friends and I are taking a hiatus too, at least until they add matchmaking for teams. I still like a lot of the changes they made from the original MNC, but the way it's balanced makes it far too common for games to be decided by the worst player(s) and not the best. Which would be fine, except the lack of matchmaking all but guarantees that every match will have a feeder/leaver or two, making the game way more frustrating than fun.

A friend and I played a few matches of the original MNC over the weekend and had a lot more fun with it. It has its own problems, but losing isn't half as frustrating, and even in mismatched games there's still a decent amount of back-and-forth without one team just getting steamrolled for ten minutes.
