Well in that case, my Bowser isn't anything special anymore lol. The only characters I've ever mained before Charizard were Greninja and Bowser, and i'm garbage with both of them now.

All those buffs were proven bullshit. From the same source, here's the current version.

Samus
D-Throw knockback decreased BUSTED
Regular missile: travel speed increased CONFIRMED
Ftilt has four hitboxes (2 new sweetspots) CONFIRMED
Neutral jab faster BUSTED

So yeah, Samus barely got touched. All that changed were faster missiles and a wonky F-tilt. She still sucks. This shit is why we need patch notes.
 
Got to play around with Mewtwo a little. He was one of my favorites back in Melee and it was like riding a bicycle, slipping back into old strategies.

His Fair is amazing. Dash attack + Fair is a fun little combo if people aren't expecting it yet.

Hate that new ftilt, bummed dsmash didn't get buffed (front hit kills like at 200% at the edge).

But I'm really liking these new missiles. At the very least they got some kind of utility now.

It's nerfed actually, you can't fsmash and ftilt with items like bombs and turnips now.

Ehh, still, I'm just jealous of everyone else who does get to play as him right now, I'm feeling so conflicted with people saying how he's good/bad, doesn't (???) have custom moves. Maybe I should go kill time by watching Game of Thrones and House of Cards.

Not sure I agree with you here Kars(t). Charizard is bottom tier on every tier list. While he has some things going for him, many of his moves are even more punishable than Bowser's. I wouldn't say his flamethrower is better either... just different. I consider Charizard free when playing Bowser, as long as I don't charge into a rock throw or flame charge. Especially with Bowser's dash slash - Charizard's slower moves can really be punished with the crossups DS gives.

On Mewtwo, I'm surprised I haven't seen much made of his edge-guarding abilities beyond generic compliments. Of course he has some good aerials to work with off stage, but Mewtwo is in a unique position to abuse Smash 4's ledge trump mechanics while edge-guarding. Given that his up b is so fast, if Mewtwo goes off stage to edge-guard and the opponent makes it past him, if Mewtwo is in up-b range he can instantly ledge-trump his opponent as soon as they reach the ledge. The only thing I'm unsure of is what the go-to move would be after the trump. Nair is likely because it lasts so long, bair is problematic because it won't hit without using M2's jump, but because bair doesn't cancel the second jump it will move Mewtwo too high. So I'm thinking nair, uair or reversed side-b as a followup to a trump.

Karst is fine,.

Charizard is bottom because no one good plays him. It happens in every fighting game.

Every Charizard I have played is free, too. That doesn't mean Bowser beats him. Ricky7 is great with the character.

His Flamethrower is much better because it has more directional strength.

Debatable.

Only good Charizard I've played was accompanied by terrible lag, I suppose I can't say much there.

Ours has more range.

It's good mostly because the windup moves Charizard backward a bit, I've often been tricked into throwing an attack to interrupt the fsmash windup and whiffed (and then been hit) because of that.

You know, slightly off topic, I bought this Wii u used with wind waker digitally and I erased it to make room for the patch, and now I'm super scared I might've lost the game :o
