In other words, yes, the Left is more than happy to sloppily brand someone a "racist" for the most mundane reasons conceivable.
Bit of a generalisation to say that the whole Left is happy to call someone a racist. I'm on the left, and I think it's ridiculous to call him a racist because he says "take the red pill". It's clear he said this because he wants his factories to be open and he thinks the economic value is outweighing the very low chance of people dying. And by saying "take the red pill" he is merely implying not to listen to the people making these decisions.

Then what's the question? Has your incredulity that somone would be called "racist" over theses remarks been satisfied, or were you Just Starting A Conversation?

It has been satisfied indeed. Was just surprised and was wondering if there was something that I missed, but apparently not.

Oh boy, incoming headlines: "Elon Musk tweets alt-right phrase"

Red-pilling, originally a reference to the 1999 movie “The Matrix,” is a term used online to describe a conversion to extreme, far-right views.
This article is amazing. It fills up the entire bingo card. Gamergate, far right, Men's Rights, Trump TRUMP TRUUUMP, racism!, Sexism!, etc.

The brutality of it all.
You know, I said even before the primaries that there was no way Biden could beat Trump. (I was just thinking about the live debates)

That was before learning how incompetent Bidens messege team was. That includes the digital space with ads. So in one corner we have what is perhaps the most savvy and high production value multimedia political campaigns ever, vs one that thought it was a good idea to release "I'm on team Joe" so every shitlord on earth can create mocking, cruel, funny, satirical, and downright brutal memes making Biden look like an absolute buffoon. I'm not even getting into how terrible it looks that they can't even get a DJ under 70 to spin the vinyl for them during one of the most bizarre and buggy digital townhall meetings I have ever seen.

I think I made the right call. This ad is slick, funny, sarcastic but most importantly on point in using Bidens own words against him in a way that would critically damage any other brand almost irreparably. Think Coca-Cola. They would fire their "president" almost immediately and announce a replacement from a top end firm, or company and spare no expense in doing so to end the free fall of their stock if he was doing the things Biden is doing.

The Democrats are a brand and they have not only been damaged by their "president", it's an ongoing free fall for their stock with no end in sight. The worst part is any other "CEO" isn't available, retired, or battling their own scandals and screw ups. In terms of depth, the IT guy is getting a serious look at this point to head the company, or that crazy lady in the cube in the annex who makes sure everyone is recycling or she loses her shit on you.

These types of ads stick with people when they are in that booth, especially on the fence moderates. How do you answer someone when they asked who did you vote for and you say Biden when "dog faced pony soldier" is still ringing in your ears?

The Democrats are doing permanent damage to their brand by having the extreme nutter socialists on one side, extreme environmentalists on another, open border crazies on yet another side, and A man with clear cognitive decline as your candidate.

What kind of message does all that crazy send?

One that can be exploited.

The Democrats need to be humbled hard and examine their platform, roots, messaging, and members in genuine soul searching.

This extends to the concept of left leaning people as well. Classical liberals or whatever we can name them now. I really don't even know where they fit now with today circus of bullshit the left is.

It was only 15 years ago, they were the people of personal liberties, against police state, open debates of ideas, against censorship, and so much more.

We (cause I identified as one) opposed the religious right that wanted to censor and control societyl based on their own specific concepts of moral superiority, decency, and dogma.

The modern left has become the former religious right in tactics, zeal, and desire to control from ground level culture to the halls of power.

Fuck the democrats and the mainstream twitter left. They turned puritanical. They need a top to down reformation.

At least when the aliens try to mind-control the human race they'll have meaningful goals that require it. I'm pretty sure it won't be the planet-wide echochamber filled with sheep these fools are after. Or maybe it will, wool and mutton for life.
