Team Thousand Pounds: Some great video game/anime inspired live action short films!

Hey guys, I searched and I didn't see anything on Team Thousand Pounds, so I decided to make a thread with some of their videos.

They are a team of actors, martial artists and stuntmen and they have delivered some of the best live action fights I've seen lately.

Right now, they are kickstarting their latest project, the web-series Clandestine.

Here's some of their best videos.

Street Fighter X Tekken: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn_HaEf62h4

Naruto Shippuden: Dreamers Fight -- Complete Film (Part 1&2): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6mSdpMJCdc

Ultra Combos #1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3Sm444_zOw

Ultra Combos #2 (Femme Fatales): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUI4CZZcT7A

Ultra Combos #3 (Final Round): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UR5wXrak2k4

Hey, cool on you for making a thread!

I've been following these guys for a while, and am consistently super-impressed by how well they translate anime-style fighting scenes to live action. They are absolutely worth checking out.

Their fan stuff is pretty good (the Ultra Combos ones probably being my favorites), but I dig it the most when they dick around and make original content. Tag Match is probably the best current example of this I can think of, and I'm glad they're working on an original series right now.

Kinda bummed that their Kickstarter looks like it might fail, but not terribly surprised considering how underwhelming/expensive the rewards are, and poor management of the fundraising in general. I put down $15 for the episode downloads, but I would have upped it to 25 or 30 for a DVD. Too bad that reward level is 65 dollars.

Update on Clandestine, the original series they're kickstarting right now:

They've finally uploaded a legit teaser video for the project, a fight scene set in the show's universe. It's pretty solid, and should be checked out.

Also, they've announced that Reuben Langdon is going to be in the main cast. He's the voice of Dante and Ken Masters, if that name looks familiar. He also played Ken in that live action Street Fighter X Tekken video linked above.

I've already said that I thought the way their Kickstarter was being handled was a disappointment, but I hope they get funded anyways. They're a really talented group, and they've entertained us enough with their fan projects for free already. I think they've earned the right to tell their own story.

One of the animators from Monday Night Combat preformed a lot of the acrobatic moves in the game in real life before putting them in.

Looks like they have something less than $4.000 to go and 3 days left! I really hope that they make it since I am interested in seeing the result. Everything that they have shown us this far, did not disappoint.
