You don't have the right item yet. Come back later.

yeah, that's kind of what i figured. i've played the oringinal, but never owned it and never beat it. is there a specific reason that the areas are numbered yet you do not do them in numerical order?

I have tried numerous times to add points to my PSN account, but I keep getting errors.

Damn you Sony! Why don't you just sell cards in stores?!

:lol

This was sarcastic right? You just add funds to your PSN account...

I had too much spare time tonight...

Downloaded it about a hour ago and have had a blast with it so far. Never played the original but this game stands up on it's own. Can't wait to get some co-op in :)

I can't wait until I can unlock the full PSN game. I have some "world class" challenge room times. :D

What my score would be as of current rankings:
Stamina: 10.777 - tied for 7th
Roundabout: 14.031 - 4th

The intro music is indeed truly awesome. I love this game.

Level 9 on the 360 version has some bad slow down and screen tearing.

Ive been getting tearing occasionally but ive never hit slowdown.

Anyone check the leaderboards for how much have bought it?

Can't wait for the PC release tomorrow. Has it been explained why the game will have a 5 dollar premium, though? Did they add any pc-specific features, or is this just the Capcom anti-piracy-tax?

A few more challenge rooms, better textures.

Inexusable on what appears to be a reletively undemanding game. If I'm still in love with the game when it hits PSN Australia I'll spend another $15 on it to get a smoother experience.

I'm playing the demo and so far I'm enjoying it. I might unlock the full game later.

It's good to play the demo first because those people who bought the game outright missed out on some funny dialogue in the demo.

Who does Haley look like? I'm pretty sure Shinkiro used some real girl as the base for her face.

I think maybe that American softball pitcher...what's her name...

Haha :lol

I got pissed off when I made it to the boss but I'm going to buy it. It's more fun that I expected.

Anyone get the Pacifism achievement yet? I am wondering if you can shoot the bosses.

I got it from area 5(Construction area) I think. The boss is some guy in a huge grenade-spewing tank. You can take him out with just the arm and grenades.

The flying droids are annoying but if you hit them with the arm they get thrown out of the way and if you can find a good long platform you can toss them into grenades.

Did it in area 01 after getting the grenades. Makes it so much easier to get through shit.

Got it, thanks. Didn't realize you could use grenades.

BTW, to save people some time, it doesn't seem you can get the deflect 100 bullets achievement on the overhead levels. Has to be on a normal (2d) level.

After finding all the Yashichis and getting all the items/weapons/weapon upgrades, I have now started my play-through on Hard mode. This is RIDICULOUS. Enemies have more health, fire more often, and throw grenades all the time. It doesn't help matters that you take more damage from enemies, either. Gahhhhh. I was able to beat the first mission, but mission 04's boss has me so frustrated. You'd think it would be easy to just swing over to the platform in front of him and lob a grenade over, but no. You've got the enemies at the bottom of the stage shooting up at you, something they don't do on Normal. GRRRRRRRRR!

NEVER gets old.

Hell yeah the intro music is fucking awesome.

You know what?

So is the stage 18 track, that doesn't get old either imo :p. I never played the original, but I'm having a fucking blast with this game. People saying he needs to jump is fucking ridiculous, since it's a remake of the original and you can use the arm for everything anyway. It's build around that mechanic lol....

People who are saying this game is too clunky also need to gtfo and spend more than 5minutes on the trial.

This game is balls to the wall awesome.

You get to keep all your equipment after playing through once right?

Also bullets, does the game keep a tally of how many you've deflected? Or do you have to do 100 bullets in one Area without leaving?

EDIT: Do laser based weapons really do that much more damage against droid enemies? Seems like 2 shotguns to the face or 1 rocket work better than anything.

I've played through half of the game already on co-op, but i got one question. Will i be able to play the rest of the game solo, or will i have to start a new one.

I think she looks like Eva Mendes.

Just played the PSN demo- not sure what I was expecting, but it blew me away. Can't wait to pick up the full version tomorrow. Challenge rooms rock.

Damn...is it even possible to make it inside the boss door at Area 05 in 1 minute and 30 seconds? Maybe I need more equipment or something...

You don't get to keep all your equipment when you change difficulties. I wish you could. You get to keep the Yashichis but not the weapons and so on.

I'm not sure if it tallies how many bullets you've deflected, but I think it does. I suggest just going to level 1 and g"rinding" on the bullets soldiers shoot at you from behind cover. That's pretty much what I did.

Laser based weapons do a fairly decent amount more against droid enemies but of course a rocket will always do more.

How exactly do I beat the first boss after I take him down once?

It seems like I can't grab the top barrel and throw it at him because he's always firing up there.

Seems like I need time to walk forward so I can get enough range, but I only have time to throw it and run.

Shoot him while he's down.

The barrel should be able to block his fire once you're holding it. Use it as a shield.

The challenges in this game are ridiculously addictive. It doesn't help that its insanely easy to try again, one tap of a button, and it loads instantly. It's reminiscent of that geometry wars "just one more time". Really helps with learning all the nuances of the swing mechanic, there are all sorts of ways to get out of a swing. I'm stuck on this one called "perfect swing", I do not see how it is possible. Shit, I don't want to have to look at a guide for this fuck...there probably isn't even a guide up for this shit yet!!!!!!!

Except it keeps giving me error messages for some reason when I try to do that. For some reason PSN has a problem with my CC or my CC has a problem with PSN.

Balls.

This is weird, but I've been trying to go back to the first level, but it will not let me go from 4 to 1 diagonally for some reason.

I played the japanese demo.
This is the most fucking awesome downloadable game I ever played. Sadly I can't buy from the japanese store. Waiting the US store update...
