We know that we have been particularly quiet in the recent months, and we would like to first take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and trust.

We remain confident that this content will bring an exciting experience to our players and pave the way for the future of The Division 2 with future title updates coming in 2022. That being said, and to make sure we deliver this content on par with our vision, we have made the decision to move our new season, game mode and associated content release to February 2022.

Last but not least, the reveal of the new Season and its associated content, including the new game mode, will happen in January 2022. We can't wait to tell you more about the whole content of this update!

Still have this installed but haven't played it in a while... will definitely give new content a shot in feb :)
Samesies. Even got the Warlords DLC but don't think I'm even halfway through the main game yet lol. Should really get back to it, it's the perfect podcast game really.

Oh sweet! Played through the whole game and WONY with two good friends. We were all grumpy because there wasn't any talk about a Division 3, this might be the next best thing and as good excuse as any to jump back in again.

i luv looter shooters, and i like Division 1 & 2....but i just can't stick with them. They don't scratch that itch. I think its the enemies. Theres not enough of them...and they're not satisfying to fight. And i find the PVP dreadful. Its a shame cuz i like nearly everything else about this series.

Same here. Loved playing through 1 and 2 and consider them great games, but after I'm done with the single player stuff I'm out.

Did you do the story mode raid? That had match making
Que

I didn't know there was one. Was it always there or was it a later addition? Reading up on that it looks like there's a discovery mode with MM and easier enemies, but also without the good loot.

We finished the main game and WONY and we never saw that story raid. We only tried the airport one but never got past the first boss because we were only 3 people.

It was added later yeah. Its slightly easier to account for match making and the Eagle Bearer wasn't a drop. Unsure on the set items though.

I really love this franchise. I still feel Div 1 is better then Div 2..but if we're getting some new content ill have to install the game again and play some more.

Yeah...I bought the game for cheap on PC but I could never match wtih people for the story missions and I refuse to play a coop shooter solo, so I never got too far.

Yeah no one will be doing story difficulty now. But it's worth pushing through or asking on the discord because when you get into the mm tier, its a pretty good experience tbh

I might consider reinstalling the game for this new content. I had a decent time playing through all of the launch stuff. All of the "end game" stuff was not very interesting. Will be nice to play the game with all of the latest content added

For folks on the fence about playing the game without being able to co-op, it really isn't that bad. There are people still still playing the game; you likely aren't getting any matchmaking at lower levels because the majority of the playerbase is already in the endgame grind. Still you are going to get backup requests with each play session and once you do get to endgame, it isn't hard at all to get a team together for things like THE SUMMIT.

It absolutely was not. What are you talking about? TD2 was massive at launch because of course it was.

No snow and PvP kept me from buying it.

Hate dark zone nonsense sm.

Dropping winter setting was a mistake too I think.

It gave this game its character...

It's not going to be winter all the time and it doesn't snow in winter everywhere.

I'm open to more Div 2 - I enjoyed the core game a great deal but never managed to finish everything the DLC / expansion had to offer. It's the only reason I have any friends on Uplay.

I was expecting to hear something exciting, but didn't seem to mention anything concrete other than a delayed launch

Launching alongside Destiny 2 Witch Queen.

The atmosphere in Div1 was seriously so immersive. Div2 just can't compare.

They could fix this by at least releasing their older titles on Steam. Sea of Thieves had a massive boost because of that.

Completely forgot about this game. On the other hand, playing the first one again on GFNow. The first game is so, so much better.

If they released his game on steam, people would actually review it. Ubisoft cant pay off everyone else like IGN and skillup.

Ya, it's pretty fucking sad they don't realize this. But the moneyhat is more important than ppl playing their games.

Ubisoft is a big publisher. Do they really need Epic's money? It's been years since the Epic agreement, and many of their games haven't been selling well since then.

They still have epics agreement my man. That's why they stay on egs and not release on steam a year or two later, or in fact...never. they still get paid to stay on egs. It wasn't a one year agreement then go back to steam, it's a go egs, never go back to steam agreement and you will get paid for that

I bought this game almost 2 years ago when it was on sale for $12, finally got around to playing it and enjoyed it quite a bit, although nearly everything in the first game was much better, especially the atmosphere. Really wish they would give it a 60 FPS patch on PS5.

Think I’ll redownload this today. I remember grinding to play the NYC expansion but was kind of burnt out by the time I got there. Good time to catch up.

The original sin of Division 2 was setting this in Washington D.C. (and not winter) and not continuing with New York.

I had a nice time with Division 2, don't get me wrong.

Like most ubisoft games, they start with an awesome premise...Could really get into some complicated topics, some cool mission structure...etc...and then...they always find a way to pull its teeth....leaving it toothless rather than something sharp.

Epic obviously can't keep paying Ubisoft forever.

To my surprise I loved soloing this game on PC. I guess its somewhat dry personality is bad for driving engagement on gaming forums but it was a solid fun experience to me. I need to do the NY part sometime..
