it's hard to prove whether they did it based off of private info, or based on the public media end of the world clickbaiting.
This is pretty much how I feel. I don’t consider it insider information when everything about what was going on about the beginning of a pandemic was widely reported in the news. I moved my investments out of the stock market and put it in safer investments around the same time as well. Tons of people did. These Senators were just doing what tons of other investors across America were doing at the time. This is just the leftist media trying to sell a false story, as people are already hyped up about the Corona virus.

I wonder why all these “news” stories are about Republican lawmakers who moved their investments and not about Democrat lawmakers who did the same thing?? Hmmmm??? Don’t buy this BS, GAF.

The Dems will never act on this because of how insider trader works on Capitol Hill - everyone does it, despite it technically not being allowed, because investigation of it is an internal matter. If, say, Dems tried to go after the Republicans who did this then Republicans could do the same thing to them when they get power.

Add in the facts that they are sharing insider info across party lines and that almost everyone is complicit, and weaponizing investigation will backfire eventually.

I'm sure Pelosi is going to sit AOC down and tell her to STFU shortly, likely with some leverage using AOC's and the gangs own burgeoning finance scandals. "Keep talking and we will go after Omar and you too, or not help when the Republicans do."

Diane Feinstein has been called out for this as well in this thread with a linked news article.

Funny how they’re screaming for the Republicans to resign but not Feinstein.
Feinstein didn't have any direct decision on the sale itself with it being managed by an intermediary (its a blind trust). Also, the stock itself was not sold at an ideal time:

I don't see how she would be lumped in with the others besides the similarity that she's a congressman who sold a lot of stock before March. By all means an ethics committee or whatever should investigate her, but I doubt she's at fault here.

If all these guys got was an informational brief then I dont see this as an issue. Plenty of data out there showing this was a distinct possibility.

But if they got a brief giving them hard timelines for specific quarantine policies that they KNEW would affect stocks, then at least let their constituents know so next election they can get primaried out (if their electorate cares).

Just think, our president will be putting out one of the most socialist programs in our country's history.

Can we get Andrew Yang in Trump's administration please?

Feinstein is and has always been a human colostomy bag. She needs to resign, too. All people of conscience should be calling for the four of them to resign in disgrace.

They can always fall back on "I don't personally manage my stock" or "I sold based on media reporting". The media has been on the Coronavirus for a long while; not like they can't have plausible deniability. Unless someone gets caught red-handed, there won't be (legal) repercussions. Madness of crowds, though, may lead to pressured resignations.

It’s only okay when we do it. Especially having Chinese spies working for us for over 20 years. Connected to the key party players that sold America out to China in 1992.

Must be a “coincidence”.

Anime waifu panty shots are basically the same thing as paintings of the french baroque masters, if you think about it.
