As a kid, I was really disappointed that my cool character action game with a big sword was a turn-based RPG that ran like a claymation movie. I eventually came around to enjoying it.

Because the two games it has been compared to in a sales manner (super Mario rpg remake and clair obscur) have both outsold it and them putting out concrete sales figures would cement it as an embarrassment for them.
