The first 20 minutes of Romeo is a Dead Man

Could be cool.

But... am I tripping or is the framerate all over the place? At least at 11:05~, that section with the green cubes seems a bit fucked up.

Yup. Some of the reviewers also experienced some crashes. It's a preview build though. But then again, Grasshopper were never that good when it comes to technical execution either. So we'll see.

This is such a bizarre game. I am not sure about it, I will wait for the reviews and impressions before jumping

I've never been able to click with Suda51 games.
I really like his weird style but the gameplay in his games is always mid as fuck if not straight up bad. This seems no different, looks fun and unique until you get actual gameplay and it looks like some 6/10 game.

Looks okay.

Has far too many particle effects though.

As long as they don't try to charge 69.99 for this, there is potential.
Plus, I am a big fan of Cilantro, Tumeric and Cumin.

This might be Suda51's most out-there game so far. Which is saying a lot. It's borderline incoherent at times.

The most out there and weirdest is still Killer Is Dead. A straight forward remaster for modern systems would be amazing. The art style alone deserves higher resolutions

I personally can't wait for Romeo Is A Dead Man. I'll buy anything Suda51 is involved with.

Holy shit this looks cool. This is the type of stuff we should be doing with video games, not just chasing hyper-realistic graphics.

I love the style of this so much!

Definitely waiting for a sale. Looks like what I expected. Fun art style and random stuff but not blown away by the gameplay. Looks like a reskin of Let it Die possibly.

I'm a sucker for Suda games. Honestly they usually don't do it for me in the gameplay or even game department, but those visuals and that style is just something else man. I can't not be interested.

Also there is no such thing as too many particle effects. Dazzle my eyes.

Looks awesome, but I do agree that the particle effects are a bit too much as some have mentioned. Looks very overwhelming/messy at times.

Interested in this game but the particular effects are giving me a headache. They need to tone it down significantly because you can barely see what's going on.

Always love the style of his games. The world and characters. The aesthetic.

Gameplay always falls short though. Like pS3 generation style of game.
I wish they could find that magic sauce to update his gameplay concepts in how it translates to the player.
Just the look and feel of shooting, animation, camera movement. I want that stuff to scream style as well. Looks stiff.

If available I will be buying a physical copy for collection purposes though. Maybe even a deluxe edition. Day 1.
