You can switch between new graphics and original. Original adds some cool looking fuzzy filter to make it appear low res. Looks pretty cool.

I think so. It's a hardware mod. I bought it that way.

Compared to the 3DS version, yes it is. Better framerate, nicer graphics, faster scrolling text, and gyro aiming was all it needed to be as good as it was. I wouldn't go back to the original though.

I would.

3DS version also messes with the art direction a lot, ruining the atmosphere in some areas/dungeons.

And it's locked 60 fps all along so.. yeah.

I am an idiot. Those were not glitches, the guy was switching between the old and new mode .
Game works nicely in Xenia, with some stutters from time to time.

Surprisingly pretty good so far. Maybe some slight freezing when first starting up but after that it’s pretty smooth.

Works cool. The occasional stutter and loss of music in the menus but runs great. Shame we dont have online play. Maybe someone can implement it eventually.

For me it seemed like a framepacing issue almost, a noticeable hitch every couple of seconds and some slowdown in larger areas. Not sure if the slowdown is there on console.

360 HDD, no issues, no stuttering.

This still looks more fun than much of the trash released these days. Multiplayer shooters used to have music and weapon pickups instead of loadouts holy fuck

make a shortcut to xenia.exe and add "--d3d12_resolution_scale=2" without quotes to the target, then goto documents/xenia find either xenia.config.toml or xenia-canary.config.toml , open with a text editor and find "present_letterbox = true" and set it to false, set aspect to 21:9 in game
