Dont know if you are doing it already, but holding L1 to set the camera to focus on Trico helps a lot.

Maybe the water section won't be frequently broken now. I do hope they kind of work on the kid being occasionally less terrible to control, like not grabbing on during scripted moments or grabbing the wrong things.

I got used to it but yeah, the game would've been easier to control if they hadn't made the boy auto-grab everything. I kinda feel like the things they added to make it easier to control actually made it worse, both that and the fucking tool tips.

Speaking of which, the one change I want is to make those fucking tool tips optional. They were slightly useful in the first 10 minutes but after that, they're the fucking worst.

I just finished it last night and absolutely adored it despite the undeniably atrocious performance, camera and controls. I really hope this game gets a decent patch because I plan on replaying it in the years to come.

Yeah auto grab is terrible. I've seen a guy die twice in that section where Trico picks the boy and throw him on his back, but the boy landed on his back and so auto grab didn't happen lol.

Trico taking a dump was the only trophy I got besides the obligatory one for finishing the game.

For me it was the framerate that severely diminished the impact of some of the game's best scenes my first time through. If they could figure out a way to improve that via a patch I think it would be the single biggest improvement to the game.

Yes. I also almost missed it myself, Trico was a bit far away, though the narration for it still triggered as Trico was in my vision.

There's a fair bit of comedic narration you can get by doing or seeing dumb things for achievements, yeah.

Early downloaders of the patch are reporting, amongst other additions, an improved camera deadzone, the removal of unnecessary button prompts and a smoother frame rate in places.

I wanna know where the hell they got this from. Any impressions from GAFers who have played around with this patch yet? Specifically on a standard PS4?

After FFXV and TLG patche 1.03 dropped we have no clue what's been fixed
lol- I really wish they would release detailed notes, but I think they are to afraid to admit their mistakes- for example there are parts

in the game where the mirror wont work, making you get stuck in the game

so I'm sure they wouldn't want to admit that and put it on the notes I guess.

If they also fixed the camera dead zone, in addition to the button prompts, this would be a great start. Those seem like fairly simple fixes. Then, they can start tackling the framerate.
