you've been playing too many RTS and RPG'S to get into the flow of this. it's standard MGS fare turned up to the maximum goodness.

No Maf, if you didn't like the MGS series before you won't like this one.

The game is amazing though, the last few hours rock! I still haven't finished it yet.

Most likely. Exactly what did you hate about the 2nd one? The bullshit codecs? The crazy story? Raiden? If so, you'll like MGS3

Lots of talking during the first 3 hours. (You do get to play the game The game actually starts when you begin "Operation Snake Eater" Only a few conversations scenes after that.

The last few boss fights just own. Probably the best and most memorable boss fights ever.
