Cool to see EA putting up some more stuff - hopefully they finish out the remaining interesting games they have soon so they can safely fuck off into oblivion/the middle east.

Unfortunately, the original version of 2 isn't here, so... hopefully that does get added soon. I'm really tired of remasters that ruin the atmosphere of the original game.

They removed to try sell that shit remastered, with is somehow make the Crysis 2 very buggy, as someone who played Crysis 2 on Xbox 360.

The original Crysis 1 runs using Cryengine 2, while the shit remastered use the PS360 version of Crysis Cryengine 3.

Ah, I was like "regular Crysis was already on GoG", but it being in their protection program is cool. Legit some of those older games in their protection program having that ddraw solution pre-installed just makes games work at modern resolutions out of the box without having to toy with mods like the Steam versions sometimes.

Benefit of having the original game, is that it still looks great, and has lower system requirements.

The original Crysis 1 runs using Cryengine 2, while the shit remastered use the PS360 version of Crysis Cryengine 3.

I hope that they never remove the original from stores i just bought a meta quest 3 to play it in VR again! This mod works only with the original

Yes. Crisis Remastered. Water that now looks like the T-1000 melting. Worst, and most stand out change to me. It's fucking awful.

The punchy colours are nice, but it's a downgrade elsewhere. Based on the PS3/360 version, yet somehow looks worse besides resolutions.

Hoping for 10Ghz single core CPUs in a few years so we might finally be able to play the original release over 60fps at all times without it shitting the bed.

GOG is awesome though.

The OG Crysis (and warhead) is still one of my favourite games, don't care much for the remaster. I am glad I've got the GOG saved.

A word of warning on the original GOG downloads, the 64 bit doesn't launch unless patched (I cant remember what the exact issues was) I had to get c1-launcher-v6-build (who knows what version they are on now) to get it working.

Hopefully they fixed that issue as part of Crysis's addition to the preservation program. I'm not sure if it was just Warhead, but I remember having an issue if you have the sound quality on your computer set too high... lots of random minor issues with the old Crysis games.
