Glad there was a thread made. Hadn't heard about this until a week ago or so when I saw this thread, had forgot about it and just saw this thread again today. How are you guys going to watch an HD version? I only have AMC in SD, is there an HD channel showing it or are you guys buying it online?

I'm pretty sure there's an AMC HD, but you have to have the HD service.

I already watched it in super super low definition, will watch tonight in SD, then will buy it on iTunes in HD. Or maybe on Zune Marketplace instead. Don't know yet.

I remember watching this the first time and feeling bad because the whole time I was thinking if they had just listened to all the douchebags from the start that you were supposed to hate the majority of them would have lived.

Really taught me several things about zombie apocalypses

1) sorry women, but no one should follow any women during a zombie apocalypse. You will all die except for her.

2) if someone runs off like a jackass, say a prayer for them and let them go off on their merry way

3) a dog is not worth yours and everyone elses lives

4) that guy in the corner that has been acting weird for several hours and/or holding or conceiling a limb. Yea, just shoot him in the head now and save yourself some grief.

5) Listen to the selfish assholes. Now is not the time to be a bleeding heart

6) There is no place that is better then where you are at. Every place on earth is fucked and you will lose over half of your party trying to get somewhere else only to find out is worse off then where you were at. Set up camp and make the best of it.

Yup, looks like my provider just doesn't have it in HD. Looking around, it looks like they don't have a lot of HD channels other providers have atm. 20 minutes though, suppose to finish a paper tonight but that can wait until tomorrow if it's not done in 20 minutes.

Man, this movie is censored to hell and back. Makes me worry for the level of blood and gore that will be present in The Walking Dead. If they don't allow it in this damn movie, why would they allow it on the show?

I'm guessing it's just the fact that they had the broadcast rights to a certain version of the movie, so they just chose that. Or something like that.
Because the pilot...it's definitely gory. Very gory.
