And yet not a single one can cite a specific law or statute showing where he went awry.

It's like a crowd of NPCs all squawking "Trust me, I'm an expert" in unison.
So sad that they’re regurgitating the propaganda news networks and what they saw posted on fucking Facebook, probably.

Let me guess, this second account is someone hearing something that the first account said. Third person information, it's like the longest game of telephone or President Donald Trump really screwed up the MSM timing of their smear reports by releasing the transcript early, and the media can't retract the stories waiting in the hopper.

Down and down we go, further down this pathetic, horribly coordinated rabbit hole.

And people will still mindlessly support Trump. /drool

Did you miss the part where they released transcripts and texts between diplomats explicitly stating there is a tacit quid pro quo established? All of which are first hand sources?

I'm curious, where does Cult 45 get their news from? Trump's twitter? Fox News? Qanon? Fucking China, probably. Let's just outsource all our corruption investigations to Ukraine and China, two of the most corrupt countries in the world.

Donald Trump should not have been on the phone with a foreign head of state encouraging another country to investigate his political opponent, Joe Biden. Some Republicans are trying, but there’s no way to spin this as a good idea. Like a lot of things Trump does, it was pretty over-the-top. Our leaders’ official actions should not be about politics. Those two things need to remain separate. Once those in control of our government use it to advance their political goals, we become just another of the world’s many corrupt countries. America is better than that.
Even Tucker Carlson admitted there is no way to spin this. Sure right now the impeachment looks like a waste of time with a year left, but the people spinning this as nothing wrong and fighting CORRUPTION are part of the delusional cult. The president is unhinged and only the cult 45 can't see it. Nothing he is doing is good for the country. Cult 45 only loves him because he's trolling the Democrats.

It's strange Trump says the media is not to be trusted. But oddly the cult still references the media when it is beneficial to Trump. New York Times printed Adam Shifty met with the whistle blower, here's a link to the failing New York Times. It's all about giving the cult options. They have to be able to pick and choose the bullshit flavor of the day. What bullshit flavor will tomorrow bring?

Obama's not a citizen!
I'm going to build a wall and get Mexico to pay for it!
Obama Wiretapped Me!
The noise from windmills can cause cancer!
Dorian was supposed to hit Alabama!
Omar "partied" on the anniversary of 9/11!
Somebody changed the Whistle Blower rules!
I'm Fighting Corruption through corrupt foreign countries!

I got it. Trump has figured out the identity of 2nd whistleblower.

So I'm still trying to figure out what law Trump has broken, after the DOJ cleared him.(Based on the phone call)

Can anyone help me out here?

I mean just a link to a statute that perhaps the Department of Justice may have missed.

If they can’t tell you, then it doesn’t exist. ;)

I can’t care less about it being Trump, it’s a sad state of an attack on the office of the president. Since 2016.

I don't think he's done anything illegal, but none of this is looking particularly good. I think if Donald Trump could just control himself for once and show some restraint then maybe this will all pass over with no major damage to himself but he doesn't seem to want to do that for some reason.

Also, for those pointing to Donald Trump saying that China should investigate the Biden's, he literally does that with everybody. He thinks everybody should investigate everybody and launch investigations on themselves as well. He says a lot of things, I think it's pretty clear at this point that people shouldn't be taking everything he says seriously.

I suspected something was off when I saw that. On the first Google search:

Do you agree with Tucker's take on impeachment or just the excerpt MSNBC highlighted? I suppose the rest of your post makes that a rhetorical question, but I figured I'd give you the benefit of the doubt.

The whole situation is actually super funny, if you think about it. The corrupt individuals in the Democrat and Republican Party are trapped in a situation that will destroy them no matter what they are doing.

Sooner or later there must be a Congress vote on impeachment as the White House announced there will be no cooperation until the required vote on the procedure is held.

Scenario 1: No impeachment
After this, they will no longer be able to claim political bias without criticizing the very foundation of American constitution they swore to protect.
-> Declassification of FOIA, Clinton Foundation, Ukraine investigations.

Scenario 2: Impeachment procedure
This one is actually more preferable for the White House Team, Trump and his media cooperatives are blatantly pushing for it.
-> Open trial in front of the American people where they line up the corrupt individuals for all the crimes they commited for everyone to see, shifting the opinion of the most vocal anti Trumpers leading to a landslide win in 2020.

Listen, I‘m no American and my only bias is for truthfulness and politics that benefit one country’s population. This may go down in history as the biggest show on Earth and your President is the Host.

You can’t actually compare this to anything anyone else has done as a whataboutism without looking laughably dumb, so you just default to the alternate victory objective: pissing off the libs! Oh, they’re mad I shit in the corner and I’m dragging my ass across the carpet on the way out! Doesn’t matter you’re the idiot leaving a skid mark on the room, U MAD BRO?

the more "shocking things" get dug up the more i feel like asking to each one "Isn't this what is called diplomacy?" Trump talked to this head of state and this head of state and he's talking to other heads of state around the world, discussing deals and stuff, isn't that kind of what these people do most of the time? should US politicians be 100% isolationist or something?

they have their work cut out for them convincing people this stuff is bad. especially given that the past 2 years has been Dems doing exactly what they are accusing Trump of, of using foreign intelligence to investigate a political rival. it's ok for FBI or CIA or DNC but not the POTUS? ok. why?

it's never really explained, just "oh logic doesn't work on you IDIOT" like lol good job not explaining anything, guess we will take your word for it ;)

I would like to know this as well as I asked previously. If the DOJ cleared him they must have obviously missed something as there appears to be some confusion.

So those who could outline what the DOJ missed(and me for that matter)it would be greatly appreciated.

bud if you want to plug your ears and ignore what’s in plain sight, that’s up to you, but don’t to drag others into your act of self deception:

...could this all be smoke and no fire? Maybe, I guess, if we ignore how depraved and amoral and willing to flout the law and basic decency this administration and president have shown themselves to be, over and over again. If you’re going to require level of evidence like a memorandum of understanding that “Ukraine get dirt on Biden and Trump pay Ukraine,” then no, there’s no quid pro quo.

If you’re going to accept the president and seemingly everyone involved here at their word where Trump himself admits to this shit, then does it again with China in broad daylight to get ahead of that story dropping, then you need to admit he’s trying to get people to dig up dirt on his opponent and leveraging his position to do so.

It is funny when I first read the memo transcript I was like "no way, this is fake, done as a joke" because of how ridiculous it sounded, all the fawning over each other..then I found out it was real and had a laugh about that..but I didn't see anything clearly illegal there, I mean Trump asks the guy to check if there was any biden related corruption..so what? If there isn't no big deal, if there is, then it should be unearthed. How is that wrong? Because Biden might get nomination? So what?

Oh you mean the innocent guy that was spied on by the previous administration to build up a coup attempt... who then after three investigations was still innocent, you mean the innocent guy you children have slandered globally 24/7 for two years based on a democrat manufactured conspiracy /coup attempt because the tv and late night court jesters told you so?
That guy is the depraved one in your indoctrinated mind?!

I am sorry you slandered a innocent guy accused him of stuff he just didnt do for over two years and you are at it again and then when proven wrong instead of changing your view and going after the people who lied to you and played you... indstead your hurt but undeserved ego basically cant handle it and you rather continue attacking a innocent guy and continue to spread slander about him.

The only thing absolutely depraved is people pretending muh russia never happened, never learned from it, actively work against investigating how this coup was started and never even once apologized for what they have put the country through over the last 2,5 years.

Do you read beyond the headline? Trump said he would not meet with them unless they talked about what he wanted to talk about, which is potential corruption, crimes, and treason by the Democrats who pushed the Russia conspiracy theory:

Twenty-seven minutes later, Mr. Trump picked up the line and during a half-hour conversation pressed Mr. Zelensky to “do us a favor” and investigate supposed Ukrainian efforts to help Democrats in the 2016 election, pursuing a conspiracy theory that even the president’s own homeland security adviser had told him was “completely debunked.” The president also pressed Mr. Zelensky to investigate Mr. Biden and his son Hunter Biden, who was on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
And no, their links do not "debunk" anything.

We've gone from Trump supposedly withholding $250 million unless Ukraine investigates rather obvious criminal activity by Democrats to Trump just saying he will not meet with them. That's not quid pro quo and not a crime.

There is nothing wrong with Trump investigating Biden, especially after Democrats wasted years chasing Russians and raiding elderly men's houses at 3 AM for photo ops.

That’s not what the investigation concluded, if you have two brain cells you’d read it and understand what it said.

It’s not slander when he’s acted a narcissistic con man with daddy issues his entire adult life, which is all well documented. It’s not slander when his admin keeps breaking the law and flipping the bird to anyone willing to hold them accountable. Yes, the man fucking a porn star while his third wife is still nursing their child and illegally paying her off is the depraved one.

I am sorry you slandered a innocent guy accused him of stuff he just didnt do for over two years and you are at it again and then when proven wrong instead of changing your view and going after the people who lied to you and played you... indstead your hurt but undeserved ego basically cant handle it and you rather continue attacking a innocent guy and contine spread slander about him like the coward you are.
There are plenty of accepted, verified facts that show Trump is a piece of shit. No slander required.

The only thing absolutely depraved is people pretend muh russia never happened, never learned from it and never even once apologized for what they have put the country through over the last 2,5 years.
Muh Russia did happen and in all likelihood you could conclude the president and his campaign acted immorally, then acted illegally to obstruct justice in covering it up. The investigation couldn’t conclude criminal conspiracy, that’s about all you got there. So no, no apologies.

Receipts? Biden got Ukraine to fire a prosecutor doing nothing about corruption, as backed by every other western country that wanted it to happen. Where’s the connection to his son? There isn’t one. you’re repeating bullshit to wash Trump’s balls (the ultimate born with a silver spoon up his ass example of a con man).

You don't get to pull that shit after you posted "evidence" of quid pro quo by Trump that was just him dictating conditions to meet Zelensky.

Biden's son got on a board controlled by opponents of the prosecutor as soon as he got fired from Biden holding $5,000,000,000. That is actual evidence and the connection to his cokehead loser of a som is that he got the position.

Did you read anything in the article?

Envoys representing Mr. Trump sought to leverage the power of his office to prod Ukraine into opening investigations that would damage his Democratic opponents at home. They made clear to Ukrainian officials that the White House invitation their newly inaugurated president coveted depended on his commitment to the investigations.

And the senior American diplomat posted in Ukraine suspected it went even further than a trade of an Oval Office visit. He told colleagues that it appeared that unfreezing $391 million in American aid that Mr. Trump had blocked was contingent on the former Soviet republic following through on the politically charged investigations sought by the president and his personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani, a conclusion sharply denied by another diplomat who said there were “no quid pro quo’s.”
...what the fuck are you even talking about? Everyone in the vicinity of this negotiation seemed to know what was up, and are talking about it now, and you're acting like this is just some sort of fabrication of the media and the Democrats? These are the people involved telling you right to your face what was going down.

Did you?

“Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump’s intentions,” Mr. Sondland replied. “The President has been crystal clear no quid pro quo’s of any kind. The President is trying to evaluate whether Ukraine is truly going to adopt the transparency and reforms that President Zelensky promised during his campaign.”

All this talk and still nobody can answer the one simple question of what law/rule Trump actually broke.

That's often the case with impeachment. It's a catchall for conduct unbecoming. Under the articles of impeachment there are no rules, guidelines or any outlining for what constitutes what's worth impeachment or what's not. There is no "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" imperative like in a court of law.

The house has essentially for its entire existence had the authority to impeach a President because they don't want that person to be President anymore.

Without specific laws that have been broken I doubt the Senate would remove Trump but I wouldn't be surprised if there are some hopeful neocons out there looking to take back the GOP from Trump and push it back into the hands of the Bushs, Romneys and Reagans.
