Great thread, OP. I still think ST is the best fighting game ever. It has iconic characters, music, and nails a good balance between the different archetypes. And even though there is lots of BS, some of it can be easily avoided (ex. you can zone Honda and T. Hawk all day to prevent them from ever getting in to start their BS). Truly an iconic game. I still play on GGPO here and there.

SF2 is amazing game and the impact it's had cannot be understated. For me personally it's what started my interest in Japanese anime, through the film which is definitely a classic.
