THQ Presents Vince McMahon's Revisionist History Legends Of Wrestlemania

Vince Pulls Randy Savage From Upcoming Video Game

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Vince McMahon has decided NOT to feature Randy Savage as a playable character in the upcoming "Legends of Wrestlemania" video game which is slated to be released by THQ next March. Savage, who competed in 9 out of the first 10 Wrestlemania's and won the WWF Championship at two of them, is being regarded by THQ as a huge loss to the video game. In addition to Savage, McMahon has also made the decision to pull Mick Foley from the game even though his character had already been created. McMahon made the decision following Foley's departure from WWE and announcement that he has signed with TNA. Several other names were also removed from the game at McMahon's request, but those names have yet to be released.

Alright, I've been out of the wrestling loop way too long going to Europe in all to not know what Randy Savage did lately for Vince to want him out, but when did Mick totally leave the WWE to actually go all the way and sign with TNA?

I knew he kept making his appearances here and there the last I saw the WWE, but for him to leave altogether? Jeez, I thought they were still cool with each other...

TNA is really picking up any and everybody who leaves, good and bad...

Foley was commentator and didn`t like how Vince yelled at him through the headphones all the time.

That man is such an ass.
Foley I can understand as he is actively participating in TNA. But the Savage feud has to end sometime. I mean he even made up with Bret Hart for the $$$.

Besides molesting his daughter (back when she was just a teen), not sure what he did to piss off Vince so much that he doesn't even want the mere mention of him in his presence.

Hmmmm - I can understand that, but it's weird that after all these years, he left for good because of that!

Damn, didn't know about that either - surprised she even continued to let him be around her in her position...

not really...Foley is in TNA now...no chance in hell to see him in a wwe branded videogame:lol

WTF? No Foley?

Sucks. Ultimate Warrior or no sale.

Iirc, Bryan James Hellwig (now is name is Warrior Warrior or something like that) has the rights for his gimmick...

On one hand this is some petty bullshit but on the other hand the Legend games haven't been too hot either.

If Ric Flair is out though I'd probably cry some bitter tears(I attended his farewell show live dammit!)

I guess that means no Chris Benoit then. :-/

I'm sorry, he doesn't exist, and never existed according to the WWE. The 2004 Royal Rumble was in fact won by an invisible man.

Keep in mind that McMahon has made up with Bret, probably the most burnt bridge out there. Not to mention he has bailed out murderers, supported rapists, and promoted legit crazy mofos... Randy must have done something really F'N messed up to piss him off to the point where he doesn't even want to acknowledge his existance.

42. Mae Young & Fabulous Moolah are a lesbian couple.

That's like the tame version of the 'truth.'
They weren't just lesbians, they had a female midget sex slave partner who was also a trainer in their wrestling school, she literally could make grown men cry with her wrestling skillz

Okay, that is incredibly lame. Macho Man and Mick Foley are two names I think of in terms of classic Wrestlemania moments. I wonder who else they're going to pull based on bullshit politics...

Bret Hart?

The Rock?

British Bulldog?

Shawn Michaels?

The Macho fued uns a little more deeper than youd think. The long standing rumor is that Macho tried to get into a teenage Stephie panties, and Vince found out.

Macho was GONE from WWE in a heartbeat and was vowed to NEVER be allowed back.

Genichiro Tenryu: Don't know about the penis enlargement surgery story being true, but I'm pretty sure I've heard shoot stories from gaijin workers about him having pearls injected in there, yakuza-style. (Like the dude isn't lumpy enough...)

...

On-topic, the Mick Foley exclusion is a joke.

On October 7, 2003, Savage released a hip hop album titled: Be a Man. The album features a tribute to wrestler and friend Curt Hennig and the title track which mocks former friend Hulk Hogan.

Unforgiven this past Sunday.

I can't wait to play this new and improved Wrestlemania history.

Wrestlemania IV: Ted Dibiase wins the WWE Title in a Tourney
Wrestlemania V: Hogan wins back the Title from Dibaise after the Money Powers Explode
Wrestlemania VII: No Retirement match. Just Pie
Wrestlemania VIII: Flair retains against an unknown.

Wow, some of you guys are naming some lame ass wrestlers that you want to see in the game.

I demand Scott Hall, but since this game is going to be based on the SvR engine I really could careless.........

THQ and EA need to let someone else work on their two biggest domestic franchises. They’ve been stagnate for years.
