We probably don't have much time left to guess.

Game Informer said:
With regard to the remaining six lots of intellectual property, 17 final bids were received, and the aggregated revenues are expected to be between $6 million and $7 million. Game Informer has been told that a statement will be issued on Monday regarding the disposition of these assets.

Easy Copy/Paste Format:
Lot 1 (Red Faction):
Lot 2 (Homeworld):
Lot 3 (MX):
Lot 4 (Darksiders):
Lot 5 (Owned Software/Original IPs):
Lot 6 (Licensed Software):

Note: Paradox and Stardock have mentioned they were the third and second highest bidders for Homeworld respectively, so don't list them as the buyer for Lot 2.

No one.

I wonder if 5th Cell could buy Drawn to Life ...

Edit: Oh wait, those are both being sold in the same lot. Seems like one of the weaker lots overall.

Too bad Stacking and Costume Quest were included in that massive lot. Totally could've seen Dracogen working with Double Fine to obtain them.

Stil think Sega swooped back around to grab Homeworld.

Lot 1 (Red Faction): EA
Lot 2 (Homeworld): Sega
Lot 3 (MX): Ubisoft
Lot 4 (Darksiders): Crytek
Lot 5 (Owned Software/Original IPs): Nintendo
Lot 6 (Licensed Software): Zynga Sony for shits and giggles.

Note that as far as I can tell these are just the remaining publishing rights for the XBLA/PSN versions of Stacking/Costume Quest, not the IP themselves, and I think the rights revert to Double Fine at a subsequent time anyway.

I should note that EA mentioned recently that they're vastly dialing down on the acquisitiveness for those guessing them for Red Faction.

The massive lot is just the rights to continue publishing that stuff on existing platforms for the rest of the licensed term I think. Pretty sure Double Fine owns the IP rights to Stacking and Costume Quest.

EDIT: Beaten. But ya, the Marvel stuff (and title) makes it clear that the final lot is not THQ owned IP.

Really hope that Beamdog doesn't get Homeworld. I'd like to see the first two games on GOG.

Isn't Lot 6 just publishing rights for old games, maybe even only specific releases? I doubt many companies would be interested in that.
