Yes! And Edo period is surprising. I would have preferred modern day, a sort of Dead Rising do-anything kinda game.

Isn't that kind of what the last 2 games were. (albiet no where near as free as Dead Rising)

So basically if I was in no hurry to get Trusty Bell/Eternal Sonata, I may as well wait for the PS3 version then? Alrighty.

Seriously, though, it's probably just going to be another anime license. So sad what's happened with this company lately. :/

If it's a good game that meets my fancy, it's a good game that meets my fancy. Just because it may have a license attached to it doesn't dilute my excitement, even if I do want something more along the lines of Guardian Heroes than Bleach DS as much as the next guy...

Well, as a person who played both RGG 1 and 2, having the third game set in the edo period is refreshing. Considering that they've basically finished Kiryuu Kazama's story, they can introduce a new main character.

Perhaps they will name him Dainosuke or some other Engris pun.

Awesome. I want this feature to become as standard in RPGs as it is in fighting games with 3D character models, so every time I see one more step taken toward that future I'll be there cheering.

Yes! I never get the original Bumpy Trot, but a PS3 one is interesting.

Any scans of anything announced yet?:|

I foolishly haven't played Ryu ga Gotoku 2 in the hopes that it would be localized. Looks like I'm going to have to get the Japanese version now.
Edo period? That sounds interesting. I'm so hape that PS3 games are region free.
Wasn't it rumored that this iteration would have biggest budget evar?

We always knew BT2 was coming... seems they shifted from the PS2 to the PS3 for some reason:

Yeah I'm expecting a lot of former-PS2 games to head to PS3, probably after Sony convinced them somehow.

My guess is that in this case they will make use of the online mode.

Im not that excited about it, but I hope the change of setting means Sega will give it a second try to the Yakuza series on the West.

Sweet, I loved Bangaioh on DC. If Hajime no Ippo ends up being as good as the PS2 games, then it's gonna be great.

As it's been said before, Jonny, neo or ducky have no control over the scans. They get 'em from their "sources" from 2ch and other places.

So, in short, they're waiting for the goods just as much as we are.
