Fast Autoloader
This advanced autoload mechanism replenishes your Titan Ordnance faster, making your Titan's Ordnance available more frequently.

Auto Eject
The Auto-Eject system automatically ejects you as soon as your Titan is doomed. You will also cloak briefly on ejection, whether or not you have the Cloak ability as a Pilot.

Dead Man's Trigger
The Dead Man's Trigger auto-detonates all of your planted explosives when you are killed.

The 'Icepick' is a modified Data Knife that increases the speed with which you can hack Spectres and turret control panels.

Power Cell
The Power Cell accelerates the recharging of your Pilot's Tactical Ability.

Guardian Chip
This upgraded targeting system allows your Auto-Titan to engage enemies with much greater accuracy.

Run N Gun Kit
The Run N Gun Kit allows you to fire small arms such as pistols and SMGs while sprinting.

Explosives Pack
The Explosives Pack increases your Ordnance ammo capacity as a Pilot.

Quick Reload Kit
The Quick Reload Kit accelerates the reload speeds of all your Pilot weapons.

Stealth Kit
The Stealth Kit makes your footsteps silent, and makes your jump kit exhaust nearly invisible.

Enhanced Parkour Kit
The Enhanced Parkour Kit allows you to wallrun and wallhang for increased periods of time.

Warpfall Transmitter
The Warpfall Transmitter accelerates your Titanfall substantially, using short-range jump technology.

Dome-Shield Battery
This piece of kit extends the duration of your Titan's Dome-Shield after Titanfall.

Minion Detector
The Minion Detector displays both friendly and enemy Grunts and Spectres on your minimap at all times.

Tactical Reactor
This kit makes your Titan's Tactical Ability recharge faster. The Tactical Abilities are Vortex Shield, Electric Smoke, and Particle Wall.

Regen Booster
Your Titan is able to regenerate its bodyshield at a faster rate than normal.

Dash Quickcharger
Your Titan's dash system recharges at a faster rate, allowing you to dash more frequently.

Nuclear Ejection
After you eject, your Titan briefly charges and then detonates its nuclear core, dealing massive amounts of damage to all nearby enemies.

Big Punch
Your Titan's melee attack power is significantly increased, inflicting greater damage than normal, and knocking enemies back further.

Core Extender
The Core Extender allows any Titan's Core Ability to remain active for an extended period of time.

Core Accelerator
The Core Accelerator makes your Titan's Core Ability charge more quickly.

Your Titan will lose health at a slower rate when doomed, allowing you to fight longer before having to abandon the Titan.

Update 8: RazorUK keeps scouring the BETA and finding new treats!

Here are the 'proper' map names and descriptions that display in the game. The 9 maps that are in the campaign mode also have campaign descriptions but I am only posting the classic/multiplayer descriptions.

Applied Robotics labs on the Frontier such as this one, developed the IMC's Spectre automated infantry unit.

IMC and Militia forces clash in the close-quarters of an uncharted rural colony.

Years of aggressive fuel extraction have taken their toll on this former colony for the privileged.

Parts salvaged from this old IMC shipwreck are sent into the valley below for further processing.

Angel City
When the IMC instituted martial law in Angel City, massive walls were built to divide the city into many smaller districts.

Outpost 207
Orbital defense cannons stationed at high altitude defend against the incursion of hostile capital ships.

Extensive IMC research on wildlife repulsor technology was once conducted at this facility.

IMC Airbase Sierra is defended against local wildlife by the latest generation of repulsor tower technology.

Demeter (This was leaked as o2 (dev tag), actual name is Demeter)
Demeter is a critical fuelling station for IMC forces making the jump into the Frontier.

Smuggler's Cove
Part arms-bazaar and part pirate enclave, Smuggler's Cove is famous for its selection of mercenaries and black-market kits.

IMC forces move in to pacify a backwater agricultural outpost suspected of harboring Militia personnel.

An IMC carrier makes an emergency landing on a small fishing village in the Freeport system.

Militia special forces set up a Long-Range Desert Patrol outpost in an abandoned IMC reservoir.

Training Ground
IMC Pilot training programs conducted here have a 98 percent fatality rate. Only the strong survive.

Hardpoint Domination
Capture and hold the Hardpoints.

Capture the Flag
Capture the enemy flag, defend your own.

Pilot Hunter
Kill Enemy Pilots.

Kill Enemy Pilots, Grunts and Titans.

Last Titan Standing
Last team with Titans standing wins.

Seems like a good amount. Especially if they are as good as the two beta maps.

That's an okay amount. More would really have been better for a MP only game, but it's not cripplingly low so I'm not too worried. Obviously, the important question is how good these maps are.
Remove "training ground" because I think it's only for tutorial, and you have 12 maps at launch.
Oh good point. 12 is a nice even number too. The rumour is we get our first map DLC in 45 days, right? That'll probably bring 3 more maps so not so bad to start with

You know, as much as I love the game looking at this pic it saddens me that these shack can't be destroyed by the Titans. Good amount of maps.
Many games tend to have maps that are wrapped up in the games fiction. With Titanfall be sci-fi, I hope we get some strange maps. Relic sounds like it could be cool.

Just do some crazy Unreal/Quake throwback maps. :D
With no single player I would expect nearly 20 but I'm sure they will be happy to sell you more maps at 10$ a pop next gen pricing!
I guess the downside is, unlike COD and BF etc, Titanfall cannot just tidy up old-ass maps and charge people for them. Respawn have to make maps the first time.

If the other 11 maps are as good as the beta maps... holy shit. Those 2 maps are so well designed for all 3 games modes, too. 20 of course would be great, but 13 should keep things fresh for some time at least.
I like the beta maps, if the others are as good I will be fine.

The point of not having a traditional single player mode was that they could devote all those resources to the MP. I'd expect some more maps. Now if they story MP mode uses it's own maps than I'd be fine with this amount.
