I'm very excited for this, I want some good ole' good old games with collectibles that don't take 77 hours to 100%.
Darkness II has been amazing this month, its like 6 hours long but stuffed with high quality voice acting and animation, its great!
It looks great.
The originals are milestones of gaming worth going back to.
This is the best Soundtrack ever created.
They are remastering some of the best gaming time of my childhood.
Tony Hawk is an awesome dude, I hope he's successful with this at least once more.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater was a very unusual time in gaming history for the first time when skateboarders finally found a reason to accept video gamers and the 2 merged where suddenly the kid who's never played a video game is up night and day playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
1 and 2 were where the story stayed semi-real enough to just be a skateboarding game. Once they got to 3 it's like they had to keep finding more and more crazy shit to do rather than just keep it fundamental around the skateboarding.
Zero interest to go back but one thing I will say that stands the test of time is the games soundtracks........ fight! fight! fight! fight!
I got burned hard the last time they did this on PS3. The controls didn't feel right at all. It was cool that I sat at rank 1 on the leaderboards for a while on that game. Hopefully they've learned from the last time this was attempted.
If they've got the og soundtracks in their entirety for both, it'll be a day one purchase for me. Having the likes of vicarious visions doing it and not the chuckleheads behind thps6 and that shitty compilation game fills me with some degree of confidence this game wont be shit.
