 Shadow of Mordor

I also downloaded it because of that sale. That, GOW3: Remastered, Super Stardust Ultra and Fat Princess Adventures were so cheap that they were hard to pass.

This should be good for the sequel in a few months, too.

Damn I realize Mordor was on sale but that's still crazy to see it in 2nd.

Crash showing great legs as to be expected

Seems like not a great start for FFXII

Crash at the Top again?

In future please link formboth eu and us charts
Pref when both go up :3

Yup, will do! I think the EU ones were up already but was a big oversight. I know that whenever these threads are made, the EU ones go up at the same time, so I'll know if I'm first next time around. ;)

I wonder if spyro would do as good as crash. I only played the first was spyro as popular

I don't think it would do as well as Crash. Crash was sort of the main mascot for Sony for a while. Consider N Sane Trilogy is likely to be the 2nd or 3rd best selling Remaster of this entire generation. That's bonkers.

That said a Spyro Remaster is a guaranteed 1+ million sales for likely a fairly cheap budget. Seems like a no brainer at this point.

BTW,the god of war Vita collection is free when you buy the PS3 collection,i didn't know that (even if it was written in the page, but it wasn't there year ago),when i was downloading it to my PS3,i found that i am also downloading 3rd item with them with some Chinese letters.

I really wish they would also list the top grossing games of the month. That would be much more interesting to know.

Biggest surprise is no injustice 2, wasn't it number 1 on release? Now it sold less than gr wl? (In it's 4th month or so)
Still wb is king of monetization its seems with them saying it's the highest revenue title in June
Edit it was a may release it seems makes more sense but still kind of crazy

At this point I'd be surprised if it hasn't passed 2 million. It did over 400k in 2 days in US alone and it's even more popular in PAL regions (plus it had a bundle).

At the very least in the UK the game is showing legs.
I can see it. I'm just being conservative more than anything else.

PS one & PS2 classics in EU is a Crash takeover.

1. Crash Bandicoot (1)
2. Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped (2)
3. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (3)
4. CTR: Crash Team Racing (4)

CTR remake announcement at PSX must be a lock. Remake of original game, with more carts and guest characters (Sack Boy, Ratchet and Knack etc) sell for £30/$40 and watch Crash own summer 2018.

Crash is like GTAV it will keep selling well for years to come, that's the power of the IP.
Spyro does not have the same appeal, when you bought a PS1 back then and booted up Crash it was truly an amazing thing to behold.
The graphics, colors, silly character it all came together nicely and blew your socks off, that very feeling has been with people for years.
Add to that the cool character and the ads Sony has going, it was/is a mascot PlayStation players hold dear to the heart.
Can't explain it, it's a feeling that's just there, very few IP's can capture you like Crash does, Spyro will not surpass it.

I wonder why the PS1 classics haven't been brought to the PS4. Is there some difficulty that I'm not seeing?

Backwards compatibility is bad for business when you can just re-sell the games again as "remastered". When Sony decided to force you to buy all those PS2 games again on PS4, even if you bought them on PS3, it was clear that they're here to make money off you.

Spyro can still be successful in its own right though. It doesn't have to stack up to Crash.

But yeah, Crash continuing to sell over the gen would be really nice.
