Sequel to Like a Dragon is in development. Masayoshi Yokoyama is the new studio lead.

Happy to see Nagoshi-san gone. Maybe more creativity will come back to SEGA as well as making more games that will work in the west.

Sucks but I'm hopeful the rest of the team will be able to carry on and maintain the same level of fun and quality the previous games had.

Hopefully it is for the best.

Working many years on the same series might end up being stressful, so whatever they try now I hope it is successful and that the people that took their position will be able to keep delivering great Yakuza games.

Pretty big hit, not to mention that Ryu Ga Gotoku is one of the few tried and true franchises that Sega has now, with almost bi-yearly releases and seemingly never bombing.
It was also a game that Nagoshi had to fight to get greenlighted, so he is the passion behind the projects, at least Kiryu got his deserved send off with 6.
