Kinda funny that they couldn't be bothered to upload a video promoting the 4K release at a resolution higher than 480P.

It's also really strange seeing "From the director of Avatar and Titanic", given that those films were made long after T2.

How much does the endoskeleton arm version cost?

If I recall correctly, the previous bluray wasn't very good, so I imagine this would be the definitive one finally?

Considering there's approximately 28 releases of this movie one of them has to be the best picture and audio.

Yooo...what is that top comment about amir0x?
Very long and tragic story.

But man is that Syler Bennett person a pain in the butt. He's on every YouTube video that we link here talking about how GAF is an evil site.

EDIT: Wait, has Terminator 1 been released as a 4K title?

I don't know what other people thought of the bluray, but a couple of months ago I rented both 1 and 2 and was shocked at how 2 looked compared to 1. A higher quality release would be nice. I love that movie.

Nice! It's about time this got an awesome blu-ray release.

Jesus Christ yes this where the fuck is the goddamn blu-ray

Cameron promised a blu-ray restored release a long time-ago and in typical Cameron fashion, he's been sitting on his ass when it comes to releasing it. Sigh!

Just watched this again and man the more I see it, the less its cool.

There are some cringe worthy scenes that do not fit in with the whole movie and take you out. One example near the end, T800 blows the T1000, gets up like he is visibly tired and says "I need a vacation".

Are you fucking kidding me? Not only that, the next scene is all serious and shit when the kid cries he dont want papa terminator gone. They should make a definitive version and cut some of the damn useless fat of this almost perfect classic.

Priced at £124.99 in the UK. So that means the USA release will be $125, at a minimum. Insanity.

At that price, why not just sell the endoskeleton arm by itself? It's pretty clear that anyone buying this package is more interested in the swag than the actual movie itself.

You do understand that the version with the arm is not the only version that will be released right?

It is a great fall for 4k.

I bet a lot of these early UHD releases are of dubious quality, as with prior new formats.

Pretty much everything after the first batch of releases has been an upgrade to some extent. Lately new releases are more often mastered from a 4K intermediate and are noticeably better. HDR is the real game changer though.

That arm will shrink in size and change in to plastic by the time it releases, won't fall for that again after MGSV.

Also those doom door sound effects.
