Trump aide's email draws new scrutiny in Russia inquiry. Proposed meeting with Putin

Congressional investigators have unearthed an email from a top Trump aide that referenced a previously unreported effort to arrange a meeting last year between Trump campaign officials and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to sources with direct knowledge of the matter.

The aide, Rick Dearborn, who is now President Donald Trump's deputy chief of staff, sent a brief email to campaign officials last year relaying information about an individual who was seeking to connect top Trump officials with Putin, the sources said.

Lmao, and once again we are talking about Russia, when it was hardly talked about for a few weeks.

He just can't shake Russia, seems like guilt to me.

Also was working for Sessions at the time. Sessions is as dirty as Trump. Don't forget he lied about meeting Russian under oath.

Wow or does it look like our president may have colluded with a Foreign enemy, specifically that Russian president. I'm shocked.

Also was working for Sessions at the time. Sessions is as dirty as Trump. Don't forget he liked about meeting Russian under oath.

You mean lied, slight correction there.

It's going to be fascinating to see if any Trump supporters actually change their minds and decide that e-mails aren't important after all, in order to absolve Trump, or will find even more impressive mental gymnastics to flip through to find a way to differentiate Clinton e-mail fiasco from Trump e-mail fiasco.

Emails are important when you're a criminal like Shillary. Trump is simply a deal-maker and the Deep State is witch hunting every single little thing about Trump because he's not a politician and he's new at this.

All the Trumpettes last week saying that the Russia stuff was made up because focus had changed to the racism stuff are probably regretting how they jinxed themselves.

Should have knocked on wood.

Also the people talking about how whatever news is simply a distraction from the Russia investigation news.

This investigation's going to last at least a year, and the biggest news will be when Mueller brings his results to the table.
