How are they going to continue to spin Trump as a Neo Nazi, Alt Right, "literally Hitler" now?

You'd think liberals would be happy to hear him say those things and relieved things aren't as bad as they feared, but oh no, they'd rather live in their fantasy world.
You have liberals in this thread showing support for him. Your constant fear-mongering and whining about the left in every thread is tiresome. Chill the fuck out.

And there will be plenty more just like that and worse what's the news gears up. But I get what you are saying, and it was a refreshing thread to read as a whole compared to the past.

How the hell did he only spend two sentences on infrastructure?

Only thing I majorly disliked was him using the platform to call out the investigation. Wrong place to be doing it and just came off sleazy and gross

If I was in Congress I’d sit out these silly affairs. No way I’d spend hours pretend clapping on command. They all look like idiots.

I have no interest in the "literally Hitler," the-sky -is-falling rhetoric. I don't think my post fits that outfit either. But like I said, no one is interested in nuance or accurately engaging in contending arguments.

Fantastic speech honestly.
Not much to dislike about it and absolutely gut wrenching to see how many didn’t support the innocent lives of late term babies.
Disgusting in my opinion. I thought the “killing babies” policy was a fringe thing. Apparently not. Is this an official part of democrat policy now? Killing babies? Why not birth control? Why create life and then end it? What in the heck is going on?

I don't want to go there too much, but the organ/cell/stem/spinal trade is some serious big business. Ask China.

I feel like if someone cut out all the clapping and sped the video to like 1.5x (Trump talks really slowly) this would have been much easier to watch.
He's not exactly a classically trained speaker but I suppose that has its own appeals. He's got a good speech writer and managed to stick to the script and while I get this was some sort of political pep rally maybe tell Pence & co. to tone down the standing ovations.

But trying to imagine this with someone like Jeb "please clap" Bush... just whew. In an alternate universe we would have gotten loads of dank memes from tonight.

Seriously. The guy's daughter and son in law are practicing Jews. He is the most pro-Israel President in history. He has repeatedly called out antisemitism describing it in horrifying terms like venomous. Brings in Holocaust survivors, and highlights the recent antisemitic attack, but somehow it was all a dog whistle LOL.

Have I got a story for you

A world-first study has called for the mass retraction of more than 400 scientific papers on organ transplantation, amid fears the organs were obtained unethically from Chinese prisoners.

The Australian-led study exposes a mass failure of English language medical journals to comply with international ethical standards in place to ensure organ donors provide consent for transplantation.

The study was published on Wednesday in the medical journal BMJ Open. Its author, the professor of clinical ethics Wendy Rogers, said journals, researchers and clinicians who used the research were complicit in “barbaric” methods of organ procurement.

“There’s no real pressure from research leaders on China to be more transparent,” Rogers, from Macquarie University in Sydney, said. “Everyone seems to say, ‘It’s not our job’. The world’s silence on this barbaric issue must stop.”

A report published in 2016 found a large discrepancy between official transplant figures from the Chinese government and the number of transplants reported by hospitals. While the government says 10,000 transplants occur each year, hospital data shows between 60,000 to 100,000 organs are transplanted each year. The report provides evidence that this gap is being made up by executed prisoners of conscience.

You serious? We are a very very very capitalist country. Even "socialist" countries like Norway, Sweden, and Germany are very much capitalist.
That is what I mean though. Socialism isn't communism. You can be both capitalist and socialist.

I dare not see the batshit insanity at the other place, somebody go be the eyes for me.
Just one of the responses from the insane asylum:

They way I interpret this is "Hey, look I'm not bigoted! I don't support Nazis! Look at my holocaust survivor friends!"
Lol. So basically just Orange Man (still) bad

I'm seeing dipshits calling him a Nazi on Twitter right this very moment.

God Abrams is bad. Now I know why she lost.
She didn't get my vote, that's for sure.

It's staggering how brainwashed these people are, it's literally right out of 1984 where they tell the people "We're at war with Eurasia, we've never been at war with Eastasia" and without a second of hesitation or thought people just accept it.

People are told Trump is a Nazi, therefore they accept it like the good little mindless drones they are regardless of any actual words out of Trump's mouth or any of his actions or policies, incredible.

I'm not saying you have to be a Trump supporter, you can still disagree with him on certain issues, but anyone who still calls him a Nazi is literally delusional.

I thought President's was good if long winded. I would have highlighted the Democratic control of certain states an the fallout of it.

Being double taxed ain't right. You get taxed on the assets while you're living and you get taxed on them again when you die. How is that right? Imagine your car being taxed again on your death that your family has to pay in order for them to keep your car. Makes no sense.
It does make sense, when you die you don’t get taxed again. The person receiving it gets it taxed as income. (More or less) and helps prevent a superclass from developing,

He hit on most of the populist points I like. I almost thought he was going to hit on universal health care. Was a good speech. If we had a candidate who said everything he said tonight and universal healthcare, and maybe marijuana legalization and they would have my vote.

He’s holding back Marry Jane for the 2020 campaign me thinks. And he can’t call for healthcare reform until he gets some sort of push from Dems or he’d be letting the wolves run of the coop.

I think he set up the road to incremental reform by his transparency talk. He was absolutely right about meds too. You can get migraine pills that cost 50 bucks a pill (5-9 after insurance) in Mexico for 1-3 dollars a pill. And you can do so on an American script.

And you can get like 3 months supply across the border at a time if the doctor scripts it that way. Same pill. Same brand. All made in mexico at the same plant. It is criminal how much big pharma rakes our insurance carriers.

We have a lot to do before Universal healthcare is a thing.
