The federal agency tasked with overseeing security at transportation hubs has been violating its own policy by allowing migrants who have been released from federal custody onto flights despite not having required documents, according to several Department of Homeland Security officials.
For the past six months, the Transportation Security Administration has allowed migrants released from the custody of other Homeland Security agencies to board flights to other parts of the country despite the passengers lacking any of the 15 documents it states are the only acceptable forms of identification.
Since early December, the agency has avoided temporarily changing federal policy and also not introduced a permanent solution to address this new phenomenon, despite no indication border apprehensions and mass releases are slowing down any time soon.
In its initial statement to the Washington Examiner on its own policy violation, the agency said “TSA accepts identification documentation issued by other government agencies, which is validated through the issuing agency. All passengers are then subject to appropriate screening measures.”
TSA then referred the Washington Examiner to a webpage, which still states, “You will not be allowed to enter the security checkpoint if your identity cannot be confirmed, you chose to not provide proper identification or you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process.”
TSA issued an additional statement after publication.
“All travelers are required to provide proper documentation prior to flying. CBP, ICE and TSA have been working together for years, ensuring that those who are leaving detention facilities are provided with the proper documentation, or given additional information about proper documentation at that time," a TSA spokesperson said in an email. "TSA has always had protocols in place for those that are unable to produce documentation and need to travel. However, we expect the vast majority of travelers to appear with one of the documents listed on our website."

Meanwhile, regular US citizens getting their balls fondled and breasts groped for "national security".

Chik-Fil-A bad.

undocumented people flying all over the place good.

Wouldn't surprise me if they all got bumped to first class and were given free tickets too.

I don't know what the TSA is supposed to do though. The airlines are the ones letting people buy plane tickets without verifying their identity.

TSA verifies if your identity matches the ticket itinerary though before you are able to pass into the screening line. So how do they allow people to pass without identity? It is literarily in their own rules that it is required.

So my 80 year old dad, a former colonel in the army, who's 100% disabled has to go through all kinds of hoops when taking an airplane but illegal immigrants get a pass? Yeah, that really makes a lot of sense.
Makes sense in our 🤡 🌎

Makes sense since Democrats push the notion that ID's are racist. Not only is it racist to not let them into the country illegally, but its racist to have them identify themselves when flying!

ID is just a form of settler colonialism anyways and a race based gender genocide.

This story is somewhat of a red herring. After being in CBP/ICE custody, these people have been given an A# (Alien Number) and do have a bunch of documents with their name, DOB, COC and A# on them. Any TSA agent can look them up in a computer via their A# and verify their identity. According to the craptastic laws we have, they are allowed to travel and work around the country freely until their immigration court hearing, which is usually one to two years away.

As far as their true identity though, CBP relies on the crappy and home made 3rd world birth certificate documents the aliens show up with at the border and then try to verify them with the embassy of their country of origin. Most of these countries are failed narco states, so it isn't always the most reliable, but it is what it is.

Until Congress changes the law, it's pretty much Bienvenidos a Los Estados Unidos.

Isn’t literally the only reason the TSA exists to make sure people are accounted for so that shady-looking undocumented non-americans don’t have a chance of enacting terrorism?

Now they’re deciding not to do that.

Found the loophole:
Adult passengers 18 and over
Surely these are all just kids traveling to their respective little league teams. They don't have any ID proving they're older!
