has to be lessHow does this compare to the PS4?
How is this a surprise to anyone? It needs to earmark space for OS and swapdisk.

Good thing I canceled my preorders. Sony really fucked it up with their lack of communication and their anticonsumer moves. Microsoft has been a lot more consumer friendly, but who cares if they don't have any games.
YongYea mostly just regurgitates day old news except he does it in a clean algorithm-friendly way.I guess it's surprising to YongYea, since, as usual, he has to sensationalize something to manufacture false controversy to make a profit on.
The first couple of presumably compatible SSDs cost around $200.That's pretty steep if you account that you have to shell out 300USD for storage.
The WD for 1TB is around 300USD, no? And are there some other certified PS5 drives? The first couple of presumably compatible SSDs cost around $200.
No, they said they would release a list AFTER launch way back in Road to PS5The drive space itself is not the issue....it’s the lack of communication on actual ways to upgrade your storage and how external drives work that’s the problem
Are we able to upgrade the internal slot on day 1 with a m2 drive?
what drives are compatible?
can we copy ps5 games to internal and out when not in use?
I am not a Playstation fan, but why on earth would you cancel a successful preorder for these ridiculously hard to find consoles? At an absolute minimum, you can sell it at MSRP, and very likely, at a profit. Though I guess I would prefer a launch console go to someone that truly wants one.Preorder cancelled

we all knew this since the Cerny presentation i really dont know why ppl are shocked about this.
It's FUD because it is plenty of memory to get you started and the system is excellent value. PS1 and 2 didn't come with memory cards if you remember... you couldn't save without them.Remember 2 weeks ago when half of Gaf said this was "FUD"
Lol.
I will wait for a mid gen refresh model. Not worth spending 700 on a new console with 3 4 exclusives.

For those of us who can't (or don't want to) watch a video right now, what is new here? Is there confirmation from Sony or someone else or is this the same rumour from before?
