I haven't heard of these guys before, why should I get into their stuff?
The chemistry that each member has with each other provides for genuinely funny and light hearted entertainment. Each member has their own preferences when it comes to games and such, but they all have passion to create content that they like making and that fans like taking part in. You are bound to either enjoy the company of all members or find a combo that you enjoy the most. There is plenty of content to dive into as well.

Whats the difference between the main channel and the Machinima channel?
The main youtube channel has full playthroughs and ongoing playthroughs, as well as video features only available on that channel.

What type of games do they play?
The Best Friends group plays games they personally want to play along with games they feel will provide entertainment for fans. That being said, they usually don't do playthroughs of bad games just for entertainment value. If a bad or questionable game gets played, its usually part of a ongoing series. So expect games ranging from current gen to older handheld games or SNES/Genesis games.

Totally deserving, just as much as David Cage rage.

I also advocate their knowledge of the industry (through work experience and GAF) as a huge plus as to why a newcomer should watch/listen to their stuff.

Love those guys. Too much yelling at times but simple fun. Loved the thing they did for DS2 and love their Yakuza-4-playthrough. It is so awesome to relive this weird and amazing game again - but thistime with company.

I saw their Persona 4 video once. I always thought they only did one off videos and never did full playthroughs. I'll have to check them out now that I know they do full playthroughs. Thanks OP!

These guys are genuinely enjoyable. For some reason I find their main series the least interesting because it's mostly yelling, but whenever they do full LPs or gimmicky one-offs they're really fun to listen to. Also their podcast is really good.

There was a thread created for TBFP in the past but it hasn't had a lot of activity, and it was made before Woolie and Liam were in a lot of videos/the podcast being created. My favorite piece of content is probably the Scrublords series, must've watched the entire playlist a few times by now.

I wish Nintendo would let them continue playing NSMBU. They were having a lot of fun.

Glad that the sub par best friends finally have a thread on gaf! While I can't watch a full play through on their switcher channel I still like seeing all the stuff they do. People should listen to their podcast since it's really great video game talk. Wish I had more time to see their full playthroughs. The current best stuff their doing are mailbag videos. Hope they get a dragon dildo one day.

It was not. Hell, just before the scandal broke, they had a video with the subtitle "KINECT, GO DIE".

They said on the podcast that they didn't even get sent the e-mail about it (probably because they've made their distaste for Kinect quite clear).

They joked about getting cash to endorse Killer Instinct/Xbox One on many occasions. They were never actually involved with that scandal, they cracked jokes about a scandal like that happening and then the scandal ended being true for some LP'ers.

I love their podcast, but I do agree they get a bit to loud sometimes with the constant arguing, overall great youtube channel and podcast.
