Logged onto GAF at the end of work today and caught a glimpse of this alert:

It's wild to think that I've been around these parts for two years now. I've changed so much since. Partially for the better

This site and community served as a borderline lifesaver when I first signed up. I'll never not be grateful for that. Very rough times indeed.

Members like Erdrick O-N-E Guilty_AI Potato Chip PRO Yui's Empire bronk Xaero Gravity , and Lionel Richie eventually became peeps I'd consider genuine friends, as weird as it feels to refer to people you've never met in person that way .

I've changed so much in the past two years, or at least my circumstances have. Still feel lost. Still have lots of room for improvement, but this little alert really put things into perspective.

With that said, thank you all for posting online about video games and stuff.

I have a small stash of DVDs still yeah, and I do value my CRT television and PC monitor more than most would

However, I don't dedicate much time or thought to that sort of thing these days. The DVDs are all in storage apart from my Buffy/X-Files box sets.

I watch things in 4k now... mostly streamed on my Series X or via UHD Blu Ray

Was a new years resolution of mine to let go of my nostalgia and join the modern world
