Yeah. Black Panther and Monster Hunter Girl show up for a major plot point and then quickly go their separate ways. They're introduced, sidelined as soon as possible, and then forgotten after this part of the story is done. You don't get to play as them, there's not even any cool cutscenes with them. In fact, there's cutscene with a giant sand dragon, Ryu and Hulk take it out while you get to see nothing from MH Girl and Blank Panther.

Pretty sure MK has done the same thing. Balancing and creating a moveset comes after the character model. Not excusing it, but the market leader has gotten away with it in the past.

Creating a character model walking around and a full fighting game character are two different things.

I like these teases of future characters but such reactions are why Ed Boon said fuck them after MKX and we didnt get any in Injustice 2.

Yeah that's true but when the majority of the fanbase are already raging about the lackluster roster and characters that probably should have shipped with the release version, this only rubs more salt into the wound.

MvsC3 is one of my favorite games of all time and i haven't even considered getting MvsC:I until it drops to somewhere around 20$.
For a sequel that came 6 years later it's unbeliavable how inferior it looks to it's predecessor. Not surprised at all that it's bombed hard.

I prefer the gameplay of MvCi, but the presentation of MvC3 is way, way, waaaaaaaaay better.
