When asked about third-party support for Nintendo from Canadian developers, Trepanier first pointed out that Nintendo and Ubisoft continue to have a relationship (although it's not the healthy one it used to be) and teased that "at E3 you’ll be hearing about more big third-party partnerships."
"We would love to have [them] and you’ll hear in a few weeks about some interesting partnerships. We’ve already over the past year opened up and aggressively sought licensing deals in lots of different areas.

If Nintendo were to get some 3rd parties back on board that would only be a good thing for gamers. That being said:

I'll believe that when I see it.

I don't know that sounds like a bit of a stretch but Nintendo has been open to collaborations in the past like with Koei and Namco so it wouldn't be impossible.

Ubisoft most likely, and most likely just dance.
Probably skylanders too.

I don't see anything significant to be honest.

I'm sure they'll have a couple of unannounced third party (japanese) things just like last year. Nothing like "next asscreed on Wii U" or anything though.
I'll laugh if they had to pay Ubisoft to release that creepy looking party game.

Probably more Japanese developer/publisher partnerships, which is honestly... completely fine with me. I'd prefer that, actually.

Nintendo needs to get third parties to co develop the new console/hand held/mobile lineups.

The current buy nintendo hardware just for nintendo software paradigm is a mockery of the old ways. The nes was a powerhouse because of third party games.

Maybe they've been working closely with Electronic Arts. They have an unprecedented friendship with those guys.

So they finally realize they need to go over to the third-party offices and direct the people assigned to the projects like middle-schoolers? Took them enough time, like, SINCE THEY LAUNCHED THE WII U.

-Ryu in Smash
-Hyrule Warriors 3DS
-Pokken coming to Wii U

There's three big third-party partnerships that everyone already knows about yet haven't been confirmed yet.
