Ubisoft is renaming their UPLAY+ subscription to Ubisoft+, as seen in this press release from their Web site:

Following the announcement of Ubisoft Connect, Ubisoft’s subscription service UPLAY+ has officially become Ubisoft+. Starting on November 10, the service will launch a multi-platform subscription model beginning with a beta on Amazon Luna, and later on Stadia. Subscribers on PC will still get unlimited access to a growing library of more than 100 games for $14.99 per month, including premium editions* and upcoming releases like Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Once Ubisoft+ subscribers request and receive an invitation to the Amazon Luna service and link their accounts, they will have access to Ubisoft games on Luna at no additional fee beyond their original $14.99 subscription during the beta. By the end of the year, subscribers will also be able to access Ubisoft games on Stadia with the same subscription. Stadia Pro will not be required, so subscribers can sign up with the free version of Stadia.

Ubisoft+ on Amazon Luna and Stadia will feature a growing library of premium editions* of Ubisoft games, including Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Additionally, subscribers can pick up where they left off in some games, like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, across their devices whenever and wherever they are with cross-platform progression.

Visit ubisoft-plus.com to register and find out more about the service and the upcoming multi-platform beta. And for more news from Ubisoft, check out our previous coverage.

* Where premium or special editions of the game are indicated (for example: Ultimate/Gold/Deluxe Editions), editions included in Ubisoft+ may not include all premium content. Offer subject to change.

Remember when they announced many months ago that they would bring this service to Stadia? Do you also recall that they recently announced a similar service for Luna? Well, the good news here is that these announced services are actually one and the same. Subscribers to Ubisoft+ will have access to the games on PC, as well as both Stadia and Luna.

I am thinking of signing up for a month or 2 for AC and that Greek game. It's kind of a no brainer if you want to play one game. Rotating between this service and GamePass looks to be a win-win on PC.
