Valve does a great job staying true to balance in Dota, but apart from that they can be really fucking annoying. They did this indirectly with the Dota compendium, where you got dyes for the river based on your level, which pretty much only went up by spending... Oh, and the dyes had 10 uses.

Really hope they do something cool for Halloween for any of their games this year, they could use the goodwill.

They always do a Halloween update for TF2.

Nobody ever uses these limited quantity items Valve adds. I don't know why they even bother

TF2 noisemakers? TF2 dueling tokens? Dota 2 river paint? Nobody ever uses any of those because they're limited use items.

I do see people use dueling minigames sometimes but not a whole lot.

well... Valve is kinda big on the free game train so it makes sense to question it. They justify it by smurfing/hackers but monetizing sprays is hilariously awful.
