looks like a win for xbox, PS5 drops to the lowest of 53 fps while xbox drops to 56....

....Now personally, I don't know if it's much of a win lol they are basically identical. i dont think you could actually notice a 3FPS drop difference? If the resolutions are staying the same I would say it's basically a draw. We are splitting hairs here.

Now if it turns out that xbox is keeping a higher resolution as well as the performance increase then, yeah...Another One?

Something is odd there… how can you have a much higher maximum frame time but a higher minimum framerate?

That frame drop must have been for a matter of milliseconds. The number of total frames is off by one. Xbox has more torn frames, but just a few. Also probably not noticeable. Looks like another tie to me.

So, basically a wash?

BTW, this game runs like hot butter on my very aging PC:

MSI B450 Tomahawk
Ryzen 2600 @ 4.2 GHz
16GB DDR4 @ 3200 Mhz
GTX 980 4GB @ 1500Mhz/3700Mhz vram

= always over 60fps @ 1080p on "Epic" preset, and almost always over 100fps on "High" preset, with Gsync on a 240hz display <- preferred way to play.

I am VERY impressed with the optimization. I'm sure they had to do that in order to get it to run decently on last gen consoles.

Honestly, are we still going on with this BS? The versions are on par but 12tittieflops or whatnot.

#Getoutofhere Enjoy the game and drop the console warring

You just know someone WILL notice that difference, these are serious times!

Game looks and runs great, lighting is fantastic and has some nice fog effects etc. Zombies that catch on fire look terrible though.

I loved left 4 dead, never played 2 because here in Australia we got the garbage censored version with no blood and bodies just disappeared before they even hit the ground. This is just left 4 dead 3, but the magic seems to be gone IMO. Campaign levels take far too long and are far too repetitive. After playing this I wouldn’t buy it, and probably won’t even play on game pass tbh.

played with a friend. Im really enjoying this. Love the crossplay since hes on PC and im on xbox. Game look great and runs good and still 2+ months left to polish. Hope they will add a FOV slider on console because the default is really low... also please fix the gamma issues on xbox

told everyone games would be more identical than they have ever been before. none of that nonsense about PS5 super fast SSD or XBOX 12 teraflops beast would mean shit.

Hopefully DF give us more resolution details but it does look well optimised across the board. For the few moments it falters you can count on VRR to give you that flawless performance.
Or you could go with the PS5 version and not bother with screen tearing in the first place.

Come on, the versions are exactly the same. There is no point in even trying to debate the issue.

I imagine both will be more or less immaculate for launch day. If zbox can lose the tearing that would be ideal. I wouldn't see it thx to my tv but it would be good for others.
