16:04 - Raytracing Mode Performance

Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 2133x1152. Pixel counts at 3840x2160 were rare and pixel counts at 2133x1152 were uncommon. The resolution changes often in Performance Mode.

Visual Quality Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being 3264x1836. Pixel counts at 3840x2160 were rare and the resolution seems to usually be at 3264x1836 in Visual Quality Mode.

Raytracing Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 2970x1800. Pixel counts at 3840x2160 seem to be uncommmon in Raytracing Mode and the resolution changes often in Raytracing Mode.

All three modes seem to be using AMD FSR to upscale the resolution to 3840x2160.

Performance mode is solid 60 but not really current gen looking.

VQ mode is nicer but unbearably swings in FPS is awful.

RT is OK looking but not worth the 30 FPS crippling.

Hopefully they patch something up, or something to tweak the VQ mode's performance.

This is Arkane though, not great performance, not great engines or optimizations, but fun gameplay.

I've been playing on performance mode and the game looks great to me. Nice to see games using FSR on consoles now. Hope to see more.

Dishonored Definitive Edition is still a 1080p/30 fps game on PS4/PS5 isn't it?

Arkane delivering a locked 60 fps game on console is good news after all.

Well compared to the original console releases of Dishonored, Prey etc this has to be their best performing game. VQ mode looks nice but the framerate is too uneven. I think VRR would've fixed something, those indoor areas hover at 57 fps.
