Video Games Modes, Stages and Mechanics That Could Become Stand Alone / Abridged version games on their own

What are some game modes, stages or gameplay mechanic that could stand on thier own?

Games like League of Legends was Inspired by Defense of the Ancients, a custom map for Warcraft III

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
is a spin-off of the Super Mario series which builds upon the isometric minigames starring Captain Toad from Super Mario 3D World.

Then you have games like PUBG...

The gummiships from Kingdom Hearts could be their own thing. Maybe showcase Disney worlds that have an emphasis on spaceships & flying like Star Wars/Lilo & Stitch/Tailspin/Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Triple Triad, and they have it in Final Fantasy 14 and it still fuckin slaps.

Just another reason FF8 is the best FF
Always caught shit for absolutely loving FF8. Squall was amazing. Bought the Brady Games strat guide back in the day. Not really for tips. Mainly to read and look at because I was obsessed with that game. The junction system is actually awesome btw

I recall a fun little XBLA game that translated into in game currency for Fable 2. Not sure if that game existed in the world of Fable 2 though.

Wow never heard of it
It was a TCG inside of FF8 which cards has the main game monsters with attributes and so, AFAIK you could challenge almost any NPC to a duel and you could win or loose cards to improve your deck, you could even change cards with the NPCs instead of fighting them... It was a full game inside of another and I remember my friend basically playing it instead of the actual story lol

Still waiting for my AAA Blitzball game.
Awesome visuals, lots of players, guest characters from a bunch of Square games, Sports anime style story mode.

Fuck the haters.
