Update:

Earlier today, the PSN Competition site included this little box there on the right:

which was removed as of now but you can still see it on the cached site:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...titions/+&cd=6&hl=de&ct=clnk&client=firefox-a

The link redirects to http://uk.playstation.com/psn/competitions/

Thanks to TuCk3R0 on Twitter:

edit:
This can be found in the source code of the cached main PS4 site ( http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...com/ps4/+&cd=1&hl=de&ct=clnk&client=firefox-a )
Code:
<a href="?rel=0" data-wt-event="Media Gallery - video - Watch_Dogs is on its way..." data-wt-redirect="false" class="[B]clearfix lb_youtube[/B]"  rel="media-item">
	<div class="button video">&nbsp;</div>
	<img src="/mqdefault.jpg" alt="Watch_Dogs is on its way..." />

		<div class="hover ">
			<div class="tab">Watch_Dogs is on its way...</div>

				<div class="tab-content">
					<p>
						<span>
						Find out the release date in this new trailer.
						</span>
					</p>
				</div>

		</div>

</a>

April or May release.......it's kind of a dead slot there outside The Show.

Hoping driveclub gets announced for those months as well.

If I had to guess the date, July 2nd 2014. Middle of summer when there's usually game drought, seems far enough from other Ubisoft releases.

About time!

This may not be related at all, but when I was looking at the PSN update on the web store I searched by newest games, and it came up with a Watch_Dogs listing for $59.99. Of course it was not buyable but I thought it was weird.

Anytime around July I reckon, Defo not before E3 but not long after.

I wonder what they have done since delay..

Well if they plan to release in Q2 it's about time they start the promotion machine back up.

I wonder what they have done since delay..

They already said it will release in Q2.

I think this game is gonna be received exactly like the original Assassin's Creed was. Massive disappointment with a small minority of people who absolutely love it.

O god I've been waiting so long for this. Don't fuck this up Ubi, please. April or bust.

The long delay basically killed any hype I had for Watch_Dogs so hopefully they'll bring it for this new trailer.

I have almost no interest in this game anymore. I was blown away by the first trailer but everything after that has been kind of meh.

That delay was likely specifically done to avoid having that happen again. I don't think that people will be as easy on Watch_Dogs as they were with AC either. So, it's important that they get it right on the first go to establish the series rather than just living on potential like with AC.

Talk about killing all the hype for a game by delaying it.

I think Watch_Dogs even as a new IP and with a lot more competition in the holiday weeks, would have sold stronger then than in May. No excitement around this release at all now.

There is no excitement because the game removed itself completely from the radar ever since the announcement of the delay back in October. Their twitter account went silent, no news, no screenshots. With no news whatsoever and no release date it's hard to care about it at all.

Depending on the release dat Ubisoft has two/three months to get the engine running again. I think it'll be fine. Ultimately it will depend on how much polish they were able to add over the last couple of months, because some stuff looked rough.

If anything, it will be a super intense and short PR blast. Which can be pretty impressive when Ubisoft does it. And they are going to put everything they can behind this in terms of PR and marketing.

I think the next-gen versions will do fine. Assuming GTAV doesn't fall in their window, there's nothing comparable till AC5 in Oct/Nov.
