GAF, The internet is huge. So many site that I am not sure one person could check them all out. Sometimes though with a little help we can find gold, sort of like being a treasure hunter.
This is a thread where we share some of our favorite sites and what those sites are/do.
It doesn't have to be something important, maybe you think a star chart site is cool, or an art blog.
**PLEASE MARK +18 Sites as NSFW. You are responsible for the links you post. Any violations of NeoGAF community conduct is solely your responsibility.***
Please provide link and a little description of what that site is.
I'll go first.
https://archive.org/ - The Internet Archive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public. Our mission is to provide Universal Access to All Knowledge.
Today our archive contains:
https://www.forgottenbooks.com/en - Forgotten Books is a London-based book publisher specializing in the restoration of old books, both fiction and non-fiction. Today we have 1,225,886 books available to read online, download as ebooks, or purchase in print.
I check this site everyday as it provides a free "Book of the Day". Topics are all over the place but I like collection information so I just download the free PDF and carry on.
https://www.justwatch.com/ - I use this site to check which platforms might be streaming a particular movie. But what I really like about this site is that it allows me to view which services have digital content on sale. Very very convenient, especially since places like Amazon make finding their On-Sale digital movies a bit hard to find with their current web layout.
So GAF! What cool sites do you guys like to use!
